Abstract: The present disclosure provides an air conditioner and a control method thereof. The control method of the air conditioner is capable of acquiring a voice of a user including a state of the user, transmitting the voice of the user to an external server, receiving, from the external server, a control command acquired by using a cooling tendency of the user and the state of the user determined on the basis of a usage history of the air conditioner, and controlling the air conditioner on the basis of the control command. In particular, at least a part of a method of acquiring a control command on the basis of a cooling tendency of a user may use an artificial intelligence model trained according to at least one of machine learning, a neural network, and deep learning algorithms.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for a data learning server is provided. The apparatus of the disclosure includes a communicator configured to communicate with an external device, at least one processor configured to acquire a set temperature set in an air conditioner and a current temperature of the air conditioner at the time of setting the temperature via the communicator, and a generate or renew a learning model using the set temperature and the current temperature, and a storage configured to store the generated or renewed learning model to provide a recommended temperature to be set in the air conditioner as a result of generating or renewing the learning model. For example, the data learning server of the disclosure may generate a learned learning model to provide a recommended temperature using a neural network algorithm, a deep learning algorithm, a linear regression algorithm, or the like as an artificial intelligence algorithm.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an air conditioning apparatus and a method for controlling same. The method for controlling an air conditioning apparatus comprises the steps of: the air conditioning apparatus receiving, from an external server, user sleep information acquired on the basis of data on time for which the air conditioning apparatus is operated in a sleep cooling mode used during the user's sleep; and operating in the cooling mode on the basis of the user sleep information. Specifically, at least part of an operation for acquiring the user sleep information on the basis of the user's control command may use an artificial intelligence model obtained by learning according to at least one of a machine learning, a neural network, and a deep learning algorithm.
