摘要: A method of controlling indoor air humidity includes determining a dew point set point and determining a dew point of air from a space within a building. The method also includes, in response to determining that the dew point satisfies the dew point set point, determining a vent air dew point of air in an external environment surrounding the building. The method further includes, in response to determining that the vent air dew point is below the dew point set point by a dew point threshold, controlling a connecting member of a damper assembly to position a first damper of the damper assembly in an open position to draw in vent air from the external environment into the space, and to position a second damper of the damper assembly in a close position to substantially prevent recirculation of air through the dehumidifier.

摘要: Systems and methods for integrating a building management system communicatively coupled to a security subsystem via a communication network, in which the building management system determines occupancy data, with a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning subsystem that includes a scrubber unit communicatively coupled to the building management system via the communication network. The scrubber unit includes a contaminant filter that sorbs air contaminants from a surrounding environment when an elevated pressure differential is introduced across the contaminant filter; an inlet sensor that determines sensor data indicative of contaminant level present in return air received by the scrubber unit from an internal portion of the building; and scrubber control circuitry that selectively instructs the scrubber unit to operate in one of multiple regeneration modes based at least in part on the occupancy data and the sensor data to facilitate improving filtering efficiency provided by the contaminant filter during subsequent operation.

The refrigerator includes: a body having a storage compartment; a door pivotally coupled to the body to open and close the storage compartment; a planar heater including first heating wires arranged to surround an edge of the door and second heating wires arranged on only one portion of the edge; a sensor configured to measure at least one of temperature and humidity outside the refrigerator; and a processor configured to control driving of at least one of the first heating wires and the second heating wires based on a measured value of the sensor.

The device has its own thermostat setting and is capable of providing significant insulation values when closed. In addition, the method by which the device determines the availability of cool air is improved. This is achieved by using internet weather data, to read outdoor heat indexes, instead of primarily relying on local sensors.

摘要: Systems, apparatus and methods for operating an environmental control system that delivers dehumidified outdoor air into a conditioned space through an air valve. The method includes establishing CO2 setpoints corresponding to a ventilation outdoor air flow rate and a dehumidification outdoor air flow rate, determining a humidity metric of the conditioned space, and delivering outside air to the conditioned space at the ventilation outdoor air flow rate or dehumidification outdoor air flow rate based upon the humidity metric. The outside air may be tempered with return air from the conditioned space. The dehumidification CO2 set point is determined by predicting the dehumidification CO2 set point based on the airflow quantity per occupant and the relationship of the occupant predicted water vapor emission rate and CO2 emission rate.

The method includes monitoring an interior and exterior temperature of a structure, defining a first time range and a second time range, associating one or more operating parameters of the temperature control system with the first time range, associating one or more operating parameters of the temperature control system with the second time range, monitoring operational time and operational load of the cooling system for the first time range, predicting a space temperature and an outdoor air temperature for a subsequent time period, and controlling a ventilation subsystem during the second time range based upon the monitored operational time and operational load of the cooling subsystem for the first time range, the predicted space temperature, the predicted outdoor air temperature, and the one or more operating parameters of the cooling subsystem associated with the second time range.

The apparatus of the disclosure includes a communicator configured to communicate with an external device, at least one processor configured to acquire a set temperature set in an air conditioner and a current temperature of the air conditioner at the time of setting the temperature via the communicator, and a generate or renew a learning model using the set temperature and the current temperature, and a storage configured to store the generated or renewed learning model to provide a recommended temperature to be set in the air conditioner as a result of generating or renewing the learning model. For example, the data learning server of the disclosure may generate a learned learning model to provide a recommended temperature using a neural network algorithm, a deep learning algorithm, a linear regression algorithm, or the like as an artificial intelligence algorithm.
