Abstract: Accordingly, the embodiments of the disclosure provide a method for determining refractive power of an eye of a wearer. The method includes causing to display, by a first electronic device (100), a virtual image of at least one optotype on a display (202) of a second electronic device (200). Further, the method includes varying, by the first electronic device (100), a focus of the optotypes to provide changes in an optical prescription. Further, the method includes conducting, by the first electronic device (100), an eye exam of the wearer based on the varied focus of the optotypes. Further, the method includes determining, by the first electronic device (100), the refractive power of the eye of the wearer.

Abstract: Embodiments herein disclose a method and electronic device for determining skin information by an electronic device using hyper spectral reconstruction. The method further includes capturing a Red, Green, and Blue (RGB) image of a skin. The method further includes converting the RGB image into a hyper spectral image. The method further includes determining at least one wavelength band by applying a wavelength reflectance model on the hyper spectral image and determining information of the skin by applying a neural network model on the wavelength bands.

Abstract: Provided are an electronic device and method for providing information related to a skin type of an object. The electronic device includes: a camera configured to capture at least one image including a skin portion and a non-skin portion of an object; and a processor configured to determine at least one color ratio between the skin portion and the non-skin portion from the at least one image, and determine a skin type of the object based on the determined at least one color ratio.

Abstract: A method and an electronic device for measuring blood pressure are provided. The method includes illuminating, by a PPG sensor included in the electronic device, skin of a user and measuring a PPG signal based on an illumination absorption by the skin. Further, the method also includes extracting, by the electronic device, a plurality of parameters from the PPG signal, wherein the parameters may comprise PPG features, Heart Rate Variability (HRV) features, Acceleration Plethysmograph (APG) features, and non-linear features. The method also includes estimating, by the electronic device, the BP based on the extracted plurality of parameters.
