Abstract: Systems and methods for monitoring and managing neurological diseases and conditions are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a method for monitoring a patient having a neurological disease or condition includes receiving, from one or more patient monitoring devices, first patient data for a baseline time period. The method can include determining, based on the first patient data, first seizure data and first side effect data during the baseline time period. The method can further include receiving, from the one or more patient monitoring devices, second patient data for a treatment time period, and determining, based on the second patient data, second seizure data and second side effect data during the treatment time period. The method can also include generating a personalized dose-response profile for the patient based on the first and second seizure data and the first and second side effect data.

Abstract: Systems and methods for creating personalized medicines for treating heart failure and heart disease that can capture non-invasive intracardiac pressure signals of the user through a micro-electro-mechanical sensor configured to a computing device. Bio-sample user data can also be captured through a bio-sample module. Other components can capture demographic data pertaining to the user. The user's Patient Health Record (PHR) data is captured through a PHR module. The system uses the processed data to create one or more personalized medicines for heart failure and heart disease through a machine learning module which can then be presented on a computing device user interface.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for design, improvement, optimization, or personalization of microbiome therapeutics for various diseases. In one embodiment, a method comprises identifying a plurality of microbiome features associated with a disease, building a plurality of simulations by modeling the interactions between a plurality of microbial consortia with a plurality of microbiome samples; predicting one or more microbial consortia that improve the plurality of microbiome features associated with a disease from the plurality of simulations; and optimizing composition of one or more microbial consortia that further improve the plurality of microbiome features associated with a disease from the plurality of simulations or personalizing composition of a microbial consortia according to a patient's baseline microbiome to improve the plurality of microbiome features associated with a disease. In this way, effective microbial consortia for a variety of diseases may be reliably predicted in a high-throughput fashion.

Abstract: A machine learning system makes medical predictions based, at least in part, on pathomic features indicating collagen fiber organization extracted from pathology images that include lesions. The pathomic features are extracted from pathology images. The pathology images may be routine clinical images gathered in the course of diagnosis and treatment, such as hematoxylin and eosin (H&E)-stained whole slide images (WSIs) of tissue. The medical predictions may concern, e.g., the diagnosis, prognosis, genotype, or phenotype of a lesion, and may include disease-free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS) of patients known or suspected of having malignant lesions. Methods for training a machine model to make, and for making, such predictions are also disclosed.

Abstract: Methods and systems for classifying and editing insurance claims records are described. In one embodiment, a method, which can be performed by a processor, includes identifying that a first prescription drug prescribed to a first patient, identifying a first date and a second date related to the first prescription, the second date occurring after the first date, both the first and second dates depending on a previous fill of the first prescription drug, identifying, at the processor, a third date associated with a second prescription, comparing, at the processor, the third date to the first and second dates to determine whether the third date occurs after the first date and before the second date, and filling and dispensing the first prescription drug and the second prescription drug on the same dispense date when the third date occurs after the first date and before the second date.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing virtual pharmacy consultations are disclosed. A prescription database includes unique patient identifiers and associated prescriptions, each associated with a pharmacist identifier. Requests for virtual pharmacist consultations are received from the patient systems, each identifying one of the prescriptions. For each of the requests, the pharmacist identifier associated with the prescription is identified, and an electronic communications link is established between the patient system and a respective one of pharmacist systems for a telecommunications session.
