    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a housing block retaining construction which allows a release tool to be easily operated, and will not interfere with the withdrawal of a housing block. According to the present invention, there is provided that a housing block retaining construction comprises a retaining lance slanting in the insertion direction provided in an insertion opening of a housing holder, a notch in which a distal end of a release tool is engageable formed in a distal end of the retaining lance, a retaining projection for engagement with the retaining lance provided on a housing block, and a recess for allowing the release tool to pass therethrough formed in that portion of the retaining projection corresponding to the notch.

    摘要: The feeder connector is designed to prevent incomplete engagement of the feeding and receiving side connectors and to facilitate connection work when charging an electric car. The feeder connector comprises a feeding side connector A on the power supply apparatus side and a receiving side connector B on the car body side. The feeding side connector A has a connector body 1, a protective case 2 and a lock lever 12. The protective case 2 consists of a main case 2A made up of a cylinder portion 3, a half-cylinder portion 4 and a trough portion 5, all formed integral, and a subcase 2B. The connector body 1 is formed integral with the cylinder portion 3 of the main case 2A through a flange 19 formed along the periphery of the body. An opening 11 is formed ranging from the cylinder portion 3 of the main case 2A to the subcase 2B. In this opening 11, a lock lever 12 for the receiving side connector B is rotatably provided.

A guide projection 16 to which the top plate portion 8 is adapted to be fitted is formed on an end wall 14a of the terminal receiving chamber 13 of the connector housing 2. The deformation of connection terminals attached to a connector housing can be prevented, thereby enabling a smooth, positive connection of the printed circuit board.

    摘要: The object of the present invention is to provide an electrical connector in which terminals with wires having a diameter larger than another wire can be accommodated in the cavities of the connector without changing the size of the connector and without using a butt joint.     摘要: A packing plug assembly to be used in a connector housing to provide a seal therewithin. The assembly is composed of a resilient plug body and one or more rigid members. The resilient plug body is formed with a through hole therein to receive an insulated wire therein whereas the remaining portion of the resilient plug body is penetrated by the reinforcing members. The leading end of the wire is attached with a terminal which is securely pressed into the connector by means of rigid reinforcing member penetrating the resilient plug body to assure latching engagement therein when the plug assembly is press fitted into the connector. Such press fitting may be done by use of a rear holder adapted to be pushed into the connector after the resilient plug body.

    摘要: A double-lock connector includes a connector housing having terminal receiving chambers, metal terminals for being inserted respectively into the terminal receiving chambers, and a terminal retainer connectable to a rear end portion of the connector housing in a two-stage manner, that is, in a provisionally-connected condition and a completely-connected condition, wherein even when the terminal retainer in the provisionally-connected condition, the metal terminal can be smoothly inserted into the connector housing. The double-lock connector of the present invention includes a connector housing and a terminal retainer for being inserted into the connector housing. The connector housing has a plurality of terminal receiving chambers which are separated from one another by a horizontal partition wall and a vertical partition wall. An elastic retaining piece is provided within each of the terminal receiving chambers. A rearwardly-extending tongue-like terminal guide piece is formed on the horizontal partition wall, separating the upper and lower terminal receiving chambers from each other, and is disposed centrally with the width of each terminal receiving chamber. A front end of the terminal guide piece is extended substantially to an inlet end of the connector housing.
