    摘要: The present invention discloses in one embodiment a mobile telephone capable of communicating with a home base station through radio signals. The mobile telephone registers with a home base station before beginning to communicate with the home base station. The home base station is capable of sensing the presence of the mobile telephone in its coverage area and subsequently establishing contact with the mobile telephone, if the mobile telephone is registered with the home base station. The home base station can support a plurality of telephone devices, including corded and cordless telephone devices, and provides call placement and answering services to these telephone devices if there is a registered mobile telephone within its coverage area.

    摘要: A method of predicting a departure time includes receiving a first location, a second location, and an activity start time corresponding to an indication of an activity stored in a personal scheduling component of a user device. A departure time from the second location is determined based on travel time between the first location and the second location by analyzing the impact of long range data on at least one travel route between the first location and the second. The departure time from the second location is updated prior to the activity by analyzing the impact of short range data on a possible travel route between the first location and the second location during the expected time of travel prior to the activity. The user is alerted if the updated departure time is different than the departure time.

    摘要: A system and method of determining priorities for restoration of power in a power distribution system includes collecting customer prioritization data for a set of customers. An inconvenience factor is determined from the customer prioritization data for each customer. A zone restoration factor is then determined from the inconvenience factor for each customer. The inconvenience factor takes into account the estimated outage time, the customer's back-up time, the willingness of the customer to use back-up devices, and customer's priority for the estimated outage time.
