    摘要: A rotary atomizer includes an inside surface onto which a coating material is deposited, an opposite outside surface and a discharge zone adjacent the rotary atomizer's inside and outside surfaces, coating material being discharged from the discharge zone. A housing substantially surrounds and houses the rotary atomizer except for a region of the rotary atomizer adjacent and including the discharge zone. The housing includes an inside surface, an outside surface and an opening adjacent the inside and outside surfaces of the housing. The inside surface of the housing and the outside surface of the rotary atomizer are treated so as to render them electrically non-insulative. An electrostatic potential difference maintained across the electrically non-insulative inside surface of the housing and an article to be coated by material atomized by the rotary atomizer causes charge to be transferred from the electrically non-insulative inside surface of the housing to the outside surface of the atomizer.

    摘要: A fiber optic lighting system connector for coupling a fiber optic cable to another fiber optic cable, or a light source, or a light fixture. The connector includes a sleeve member having a plurality of resilient fingers and an axial bore for receiving a fiber optic cable end portion. A cap is non-threadably coupled to the sleeve member and movable axially about the resilient fingers between first and second positions to constrict the resilient fingers about a fiber optic cable end portion or conductor member for axial retention thereof in the axial bore. The resilient fingers preferably include first and second recesses in corresponding side portions thereof, and a tooth disposed between and offset from the first and second recesses.

    摘要: The present invention is a package for housing and mixing two materials, such as epoxy resin and polyamine adduct, together to form an adhesive. Two sheets are joined together to form the outer periphery of the bag. A third sheet is secured between the outer sheets and divides the package into two compartments. One compartment includes a line of perforation holes that are easily ruptured when a user applies pressure to the external area of the compartment. A cap covers the perforation holes so that the material contained within the rupturable bag will not leak into the other compartment. When the one compartment is ruptured, the adduct that is contained therein is released into the other compartment and mixes with the resin. After the two materials are completely mixed the adhesive is ready for use.

    摘要: A fiber optic cable connector coupling medium disposable in an axial bore of a connector sleeve member for coupling a fiber optic cable end portion to a light transmitting conductor member. The coupling medium has a resilient generally disk shaped portion having first and second convex end portions engageable with a corresponding one of the fiber optic cable end portion and conductor member in the axial bore of a sleeve member. The coupling medium has good optical clarity, low hardness and tackiness to provide an improved light transmission coupling. The coupling medium is also relatively thin and has substantially the same refractive index as a fiber optic cable end portion and a conductor member between which the coupling medium is disposed.
