摘要: Exemplary embodiments of devices and method for affecting at least one anatomical tissue can be provided. A configuration can be provided that includes a structure which is expandable (i) having and/or (ii) forming at least one opening or a working space through which the anatomical tissue(s) is placed in the structure. For example, the structure, prior to being expanding, can have at least one partially rigid portion. In addition, or as an alternative, upon a partial or complete expansion thereof, the structure can be controllable to have a plurality of shapes. Further, the structure can be controllable to provide the working space with multiple shapes and/or multiple sizes.

摘要: A system may comprise a first catheter having a first steerable segment and a second catheter disposed within the first catheter. The second catheter may have a second steerable segment. The system may also comprise an imaging element supported at a distal end of the second catheter, a coil reference sensor supported at a distal portion of the second catheter, and a processor in electrical communication with the coil reference sensor. The processor may be configured to determine a position of a distal portion of the first catheter with reference to the coil reference sensor.

摘要: Some implementations of an endovascular device include a stent graft with an expandable tubular metallic frame and a covering material disposed on at least a portion of the metallic frame. The stent graft defines a lumen therethrough. In a particular embodiment, a first balloon is disposed around an outer periphery of the stent graft, a second balloon is disposed around the outer periphery of the stent graft and spaced apart from the first balloon, and a third balloon is disposed within the stent graft lumen between the first balloon and the second balloon. The third balloon can be inflated to fully or partially occlude the lumen. The first and second balloons can be individually inflated to fully or partially shunt blood flow from a blood vessel through the stent graft. In some embodiments, sensors and an automated control unit are included to automate the operations of the endovascular device.

摘要: Disclosed herein are improved methods and apparatuses for providing hemostasis within a cavity defined by an internal surface of a bleeding tissue space. A catheter comprising a proximal end and a distal end may be advanced into the cavity through a proximal opening of the tissue space into the cavity. A distal balloon coupled to the catheter may be expanded, and the catheter tensioned to apply pressure to the internal surface of the tissue space to inhibit bleeding of the tissue space.

摘要: An apparatus and methods are provided for a double balloon vascular occlusion catheter. The double balloon vascular occlusion catheter includes a catheter for reaching an injury site within an artery. The catheter includes a central lumen for receiving a wire to guide the catheter to the injury site. A distal aspect of the double balloon vascular occlusion catheter includes proximal and distal balloons for being inflated on opposite sides of the injury site. A space between the balloons provides a blood occlusion segment of the catheter when the balloons are inflated. Inflation tubes and luer-locks at a proximal aspect of the double balloon vascular occlusion catheter enable inflation of the balloons. The double balloon vascular occlusion catheter may include a bidirectional lumen that causes unobstructed blood flow to bypass the blood occlusion segment.

摘要: A device for secluding a body vessel may include a distal balloon, a proximal balloon, an aspiration port positioned adjacent to the distal balloon, an injection port positioned adjacent to the proximal balloon, and a lumen assembly. The lumen assembly may comprise a central lumen, a distal balloon lumen operably coupled to the distal balloon, a proximal balloon lumen operably coupled to the proximal balloon, an aspiration port lumen operably coupled to the aspiration port, and an injection port lumen operably coupled to the injection port. The distal balloon and the proximal balloon may define a treatment chamber therebetween, and the aspiration port and the injection port may be positioned within the treatment chamber on the lumen assembly.
