摘要: A system for consolidating and removing contaminate such as paint sludge or oils from a fluid mixture. A contaminate tank receives a supply of the fluid mixture containing contaminate from a source such as a manufacturing line where overspray of paints or cleaning solutions containing washed away oils are collected. A free floating weir floats on the surface of the contaminate tank and mechanically separates and removes contaminate from a surface of the contaminate tank and concentrates contaminate in a consolidation tank. The free floating weir is equipped with several features that enhance the ability of the free floating weir to remove contaminate without becoming clogged.

摘要: A cyclone comprises a second or lower portion that is pivotable with respect to a first or upper portion about an articulation between a first position and a second position; the second portion being aligned with the first portion along a first or vertical axis when the second portion is in the first position, and the second portion being aligned on a second axis that is different from the first axis when the second portion is moved from the first position to the second position. In various additional embodiments, the second axis may be normal to the first axis, for example, in the first position the lower portion is horizontal and in the first position the lower portion is vertical and aligned with the upper portion. The second position may be used as a cleaning position. When the lower portion is pivoted away from the upper portion, the vortex is interrupted. In the second position, the lower portion may also interface with a suction mechanism.

The material sensor system includes a float system coupled to an inner surface of the material tank. The float system includes a float configured float within a float cavity. The material sensor system includes a switch coupled to an outer surface of the material tank. The switch is communicatively coupled to the float system through a wall of the material tank, and the switch is configured to send one or more signals to a control system when the float engages the switch.

摘要: In a method for operating a surface treatment installation, overspray produced in a coating booth is taken up by an air stream and carried to one or more one-way filter modules, in which overspray is separated. Once a limit loading with overspray is reached, a one-way filter module is exchanged for an empty one-way filter module. Depending on the nature and characteristics of the overspray, the one or more one-way filter module(s) may be chosen from a set of different one-way filter modules. A set of filter modules for use in a surface treatment installation is provided having various filter modules formed as exchangeable one-way structural units with a module housing and a filter unit. The module housings of the various filter modules have the same-connection module inlets and the same-connection module outlets and at least the filter units of two different filter modules are formed differently.

摘要: Presented are the method of paint booth air feeding to paint with liquid paints (variants) and an air supply unit to realize the method (variants). Said group of innovations consists of two innovations to the method and three innovations to the installation to realize the methods. In the method (variant 1), a closed air stream is created inside the painting booth and air supply unit, after passing the painting zone it is divided into two streams, the first stream returning to the painting booth, while the second stream, containing flammable liquid vapors, is extracted to atmosphere. Simultaneously, some additional air is taken from atmosphere, mixed with return air and supplied to the paint booth painting zone. In the method (variant 2) a closed air stream is created inside the painting booth and air supply unit, and, after passing through the painting zone, is mixed with some additional fresh air and then divided into two streams, the first returning to the painting booth, while the second stream containing flammable liquid vapors, is extracted to atmosphere. The painting booth with separated units of the air supply unit (variants 1 and 2) is intended to realize the method according to claim 1 (FIGS. 1 and 4). The painting booth with connected units of the air supply unit (variants 1 and 2) is intended to realize the method according to claim 1 (FIGS. 2 and 3). The paint booth with air supply unit (variant 3) is intended to realize the method according to claim 2 (FIG. 5). A better performance and improved ecological properties are the immediate technical results of the innovations proposed.

摘要: The disclosure provides a multi-function ductless enclosure apparatus. Its main purpose is to be used as a paint spray booth to capture excess paint, pass it through filters with the use of a fan and then exhaust the ensuing clean air out, back into the room air. This booth is foldable and light weight and can be moved to a different location in minutes. It can also be transformed to serve many other applications with the use of a few accessories thereby saving the end user from having to have several booths (saving counter space) and also saving him from having to spend a lot of money buying many booths for different applications.
