    Abstract: A device receives User Equipment device (UE) Policy Section Codes (UPSCs) and a first version of associated UE policy rules. The device further receives first inconsistency detection codes for the UPSCs and a current version of the associated UE policy rules. The device determines, based on the UPSCs and the first version of the associated UE policy rules, second inconsistency detection codes, and compares the first and second inconsistency detection codes to identify inconsistencies between the first version of the UE policy rules and the current version of the UE policy rules. The device sends, when the comparison identifies the inconsistencies, a request for updated UE policy rules, and receives one of the UPSCs and an updated version of an associated UE policy rule of the one of the UPSCs.

    Abstract: Systems and methods provide a selective network slice admission control (NSAC) service on a per user equipment (UE) device level, and include manage select NSAC criteria related to a first limit to a number of user equipment (UE) devices and a second limit to a number of protocol data unit (PDU) sessions supportable on a network slice; receive an indication that a first UE device requests a first PDU session on the network slice; apply at least one of the select NSAC criteria to the first UE device and/or the first PDU session; determine, based on the application, that the first UE device is countable toward the first limit and/or the first PDU session is countable toward the second limit; and generate an NSAC update response message indicating that the first UE device and/or the first PDU session is countable.

    Abstract: A system described herein may receive, from a policy element of a core of a wireless network, a set of triggers associated with a plurality of radio frequency (“RF”) bands implemented by a radio access network (“RAN”). The system may identify that a User Equipment (“UE”) is connected to the RAN via a first RF band, and may identify a subsequent connection of the UE to the RAN via a second RF band. The system may identify that a particular trigger, of the set of triggers, is satisfied based on the subsequent connection of the UE to the RAN via the second RF band, and may indicate, to the policy element, that the particular trigger has been satisfied. The policy element may output a second set of UE policies for communications between the UE and the core of the wireless network based on the satisfaction of the particular trigger.

    Abstract: A network device for a mobile carrier network sends, to a third-party content platform, a client message including a first dedicated subscription parameter extension. The first dedicated subscription parameter extension indicates one or more subscription parameters for a data flow between a user equipment (UE) device that originated the client message and the third-party content platform. The network device receives, from the third-party content platform, a server message including a second dedicated subscription parameter extension. The second dedicated subscription parameter extension confirms the third-party content platform will abide by the one or more subscription parameters. The network device generates, based on the one or more subscription parameters, a policy enforcement rule for the data flow that relies, at least in part, on cooperation of the third-party content platform.
