摘要: A system described herein may receive a first request to establish, modify, or remove a plurality of communication sessions between a User Equipment (“UE”) and a network. The system may output, to a policy element of the network (e.g., a Policy Control Function (“PCF”) or a Policy Charging and Rules Function (“PCRF”)), a second request for policies associated with the UE and the plurality of communication sessions, where the second request includes a plurality of communication session identifiers that are each associated with a particular one of the plurality of communication sessions. The system may receive and enforce the requested policy information when establishing, modifying, or removing the requested plurality of communication sessions based on the received particular policy information. The system may communicate with the policy element via an enhanced interface, such as an enhanced N7 interface or an enhanced Npcf interface.

摘要: Systems and methods described herein provide binding support function (BSF) service registration and discovery for environments using oversubscribed network addresses. A network device in a core network receives a registration request from a binding support device. The registration request includes a binding group identifier associated with the binding support device. The network device stores, based on the registration request, a profile for the binding support device that includes the binding group identifier and receives, from a policy control device, a discovery request for a that includes a unique identifier of user equipment (UE) device. The network device provides, to the policy control device, a response to the discovery request that identifies the binding support device.

摘要: A method, a network device, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium are described in relation to an detection and autocorrection of stale session information service. The detection and autocorrection service may include the addition of a header, which may indicate date and time information, with a message that has an origination timestamp header. The header may be added to the message by an intermediary network device relative to origin and destination network devices associated with a network procedure. The header may enable detection by a network device of stale session information. The header may enable the network device to determine whether to ignore the message as a duplicate message or use the message to carry out the network procedure. In this way, duplicate messages that may include the same origination timestamp header may be managed and stale information may be detected.

摘要: A network device may instantiate a first process in a first Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) cluster within a first MEC network; register the first MEC network at a MEC cloud; receive a call from the first process to obtain information from a second process in a second MEC cluster within a second MEC network that is registered at the MEC cloud; create a first message based on the call; send the first message from the first MEC cluster to the second MEC cluster; receive, at the first MEC cluster, a second message from the second MEC cluster, wherein the second message is provided by the second MEC cluster in response to receiving the first message; and extract a return value from the second message, wherein the return value is generated by the second process in response to receipt of the call in the second MEC cluster.

摘要: A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium are described in which a network allocation service is provided. The network allocation service may use available network resource information of an application service layer network of a first type, such as a multi-access edge computing network, and application service demand information of an application to determine whether a performance metric of the application service would be satisfied. The performance metric may include a threshold service time that includes a processing time associated with a processing of an application service request and response, by the application service layer network, and a transit time associated the application service response from the application service layer network to an end device. The network allocation service may select the first type or a second type of application service layer network depending on the outcome of the determination.

摘要: Methods, devices, and computer-readable mediums may provide receiving, at a request to establish an access and mobility (AM) policy control association in relation to an establishment of a data session requested by a user associated with a user equipment (UE) device; generating a query to a network device via a network interface, for AM policy control data and for at least one of UE policy control data or session management (SM) policy control data; receiving the AM policy control data and the at least one of the UE policy control data or the SM policy control data from the network device, creating the AM policy control association based on the received AM policy control data; and storing the at least one of the UE policy control data or the SM policy control data.
