Abstract:
Disclosed is a multifunctional synthetic resin block for roads. The synthetic resin block includes a water permeable sheet configured as a synthetic resin block having a flat sheet shape so as to be laid on a ground, a block frame configured as a synthetic resin body taking a form of a rectangular frame, which is divided into multiple rectangular areas each having open top and bottom sides, so as to be installed on the upper surface of the water permeable sheet, the rectangular areas being filled with filler stones, and multiple corrugated plates each configured as a synthetic resin having a rectangular plate shape and arranged so that corrugations thereof are oriented perpendicular to each other so as to cover the rectangular areas of the block frame. The synthetic resin block provides almost all functions, such as a rainwater retention function, water permeation function, and anti-slippage function, at low cost.

A method for operating an overlay macro base station (BS) for discovering a closed subscriber group (CSG) user equipment (UE) in a femto cell, includes: receiving a ranging request message including a CSG ID information from a UE which attempts a network entry; and after receiving the ranging request message from the UE, recommending the femto cell to monitor uplink signaling of a CSG UE belonging to the overlay macro BS.

A functional road structure having functions such as emission of light in various colors, freeze protection in winter by radiating heat, or excellent water permeability for trails, parking lots or sidewalks and a construction method thereof. According to this invention, the functional road construction method includes cleaning the road by removing debris and leveling the road evenly; paving a base plate of mesh on the road where the size of mesh is smaller than that of filling stones; laying pipes on the base plate at a predetermined interval where the pipes is made of transparent material and light-emitting-diodes and a control board therefor are inserted inside the pipes; disposing a panel on the pipe where the panel has a six-sided shape with open top and bottom; and filling the filling stones inside the panel.

A method and apparatus of sleep mode operation in a multi-carrier system are discussed. The method of establishing a sleep mode operation through active primary and secondary carriers according to an embodiment of the present invention may include transmitting a sleep cycle ID, a listening window, and traffic indication inactive information indicating that an indication as to whether traffic is generated is not transferred to a terminal through the primary carrier, sending downlink data to the terminal through the active primary or secondary carrier during the listening window, and sending a listening window early termination indication indicating to early terminate the listening window of the primary or secondary carrier that has received the downlink data through the primary carrier to the terminal if the data sending is completed.
