Abstract: Telescoping and/or folding pole, in particular for hiking, having a first tubular portion (1) and a second tubular portion (2). The first tubular portion (1) is arranged partially inside the second tubular portion (2) and can be axially displaced therein, the first tubular portion (1) has a radial opening (3) and a radially movable and resiliently loaded securing element (4) which extends through the radial opening (3) and on which the second tubular portion (2) is positioned such that an axial pushing-together of the first tubular portion (1) and the second tubular portion (2) is impeded is provided. The securing element (4) has a recess (5) with which the second tubular portion (2) cooperates such that radial movements of the securing element (4) relative to the second tubular portion (2) are prevented.

Abstract: A walking cane having an overall Y-shape with each of a handle and wrist support extending away from connection with a vertical ground engaging shaft of the cane at an angle. The walking cane provides enhanced comfort, support, stability, and versatility to users. A Y-shaped upper portion with an ergonomic handle portion encourages proper height setting, provides wrist support, promotes a natural grip, and reduces hand and wrist strain. Magnetic clips located on each cane allow it to be securely snapped to another cane for easy storage and transport. Using two canes in tandem further provides bilateral support. The cane's upper portion angle is based on the angle of an individual in a neutral standing position so that, during use, the cane mirrors the user's leg angle to promote a more proper and natural gait. An integrated height adjustment mechanism allows for user customization. The cane also features lightweight and durable construction, with a non-slip rubber tip for added stability and safety. The cane may be modular in nature to allow for individual customization with an upper portion removably secured to the lower portion support leg.

Abstract: A portable walking stand assembly includes a pair of walking sticks that is each employable by a respective pair of users thereby facilitating each of the walking sticks to assist the pair of users with walking. A pair of grips is each positioned around a respective one of the walking sticks thereby facilitating a respective user to grip a respective grip. A pair of stops is each positioned around a respective one of the walking sticks to inhibit the respective walking stick from sinking into a support surface. A support is removably attachable to the pair of walking sticks thereby facilitating the pair of walking sticks to elevate the support above a support surface. The support has a pair of arms angling away from each other to support an optical device when the support is attached to the pair of walking sticks.

Abstract: An apparatus that imparts a propelling force upon a body when stepping forward during walking motion is comprised of and assembled concentrically together with a stick, pin, elastic tube, coupler, and hand held grip. The user rotates the apparatus in a forward circular motion towards the same direction of travel about a fixed location at the stick bottom on the ground surface. An impulse occurs from the apparatus upon the ground surface that is caused by the arm and upper body muscular contractions working against the elongation of the elastic tube. Then the coupler that is attached to the recoiling elastic tube attains a momentum that equals the combined masses of the coupler and grasped hand multiplied by the resultant of the tangential and radial velocity vectors. Both resultant impulse and momentum vectors are combined with the user's forward momentum because the user holds onto the grip of the device.

Abstract: A walking stick grip is defined with track slots for receiving a connecting buckle of a photographic device and with a convex portion engageable in a sliding groove of the connecting buckle and hence connectable to the photographic device. After taking pictures with the photographic device connected to the walking stick grip, the photographic device can be detached, and a cover body can be mounted on the grip, with the convex portion received in a sliding groove of the cover body, and convex sections of the cover body respectively pressed against blocking portions of the grip so that the portion of the grip that is mounted with the cover body can be gripped. The walking stick grip, therefore, facilitates picture taking as well as hiking.
