The support member fixedly attaches to the support frame. The mandibular member is positionable proximate the maxilla member. The sensing assemblies attach to the support frame and connect to the mandibular member to obtain positional data related to the movement of the mandibular member. The positional data is collected by a computing device and stored in a data storage medium as time history files. The files can then be transformed into usable information to replicate the mandibular movement in real time either virtually or mechanically.

The partition panel includes peripheral flanges for supporting the base of the dental model, and an openable central portion for enabling a hardened dental model to be ejected from the tray, and for providing access for manipulating pins depending downwardly from die segments. A pair of slide receptacles for slidably receiving a modeling tray is removably attachable to upper and lower arms of a laboratory articulator, from which a pair of molding trays holding a pair of dental models can be slidably removed and attached to a disposable hinge mechanism to comprise a articulateable full-mouth model for a dentist and patient.

A treatment prosthesis is specifically designed to be efficiently fabricated without the use of bite rims or interocclusal records, thus resulting in a device that is beneficial in the development and training of patient tissues and muscular structures prior to the fitting of actual dentures. The treatment prosthesis, and the related method for fabrication, is efficiently designed using mathematical formulas and reference planes such that very little adjustment is necessary when incorporated into a patient's mouth. The treatment prosthesis includes several anterior teeth, thus providing some level of realism, while also including only occlusion rims on the posterior portions so that muscular development can be achieved without having to deal with natural interference created by typical cusp structures of molar teeth.
