    摘要: Articulator—semiadjustable, arcon with lower and upper parts that could be detached from one another or interconnected, with two mechanical joints. An upper horizontal shoulder (5) is fixed to an elevator (4), said elevator (4) is connected to an upper vertical body (11) and can move vertically to adjust the vertical position. A lower vertical body (10) is fixed to the base (1) and holds an axis with two joint heads (14). The upper vertical body (11) is pivotably connected to the lower vertical body (10) through the two joint heads (14), the distance between the joint heads can vary due to an elastic element (18), thus reproducing the lateral shift. The articulation between the vertical bodies (11 and 10) can be locked and unlocked via an elbow shaped piece (13). The articulator lower part has an incisive platform (8) with a position angle that could be adapted.

    摘要: The adjustable fixator for scanning dental casts includes upper and lower plates which are adapted for releasably securing a dental cast to be optically scanned therebetween. The upper and lower plates are selectively vertically adjustable with respect to one another, and a bottom surface of the lower plate is adapted for releasable mounting in an optical scanner. The upper plate is secured to a cylindrical shell which slidably receives a vertical support mounted to the lower plate, allowing the user to slidably adjust the height of the upper plate with respect to the lower plate. An engaging member mounted to the cylindrical support slides within a vertically extending slot formed through the cylindrical shell. The vertical position of the upper plate may be locked by sliding the engaging member into a selected one of a plurality of horizontally extending slots also formed through the cylindrical shell.

    摘要: A dental articulator for use in dental education simulates the human mouth and has an adjustable hinge that interconnects upper and lower carrier trays for movement to and from a closed position. Modules of imitation gums and teeth are secured in the carrier trays by neodymium magnets. The hinge structure in the articulator is selectively movable to shift the jaw axis to a position to provide the desired alignment of the upper and lower teeth when the jaw is closed or demonstrate a misaligned condition. A dental training module may be installed which, upon removal from the articulator, has a pair of separable sections encasing a tooth to permit release of the tooth and removal from the module so that a completed treatment may be evaluated.

If molars are positionally offset in spite of the coincident medial points, then a locking rode 81 is loosened so that the upper rotary plate 61 can turn around a rotational axis defined by the pivot member 64 till the molars come into registration, after which the plates are firmly fixed by the locking rod 81. The angle of rotation at that time is read by use of a scale 76 formed on an arcuate surface 67. More precise fundamental data can thus be obtained for the jaw joint positional coordination.

    摘要: There is disclosed a calibration device for the inspection and precise setting of dental articulators which includes a stage member that is removably secured to the articulator lower frame and an scope gauge member that is removably secured to the upper frame of the articulator. A pair of position sensing indicators having sensing probes which are carried at the opposite sides of the stage member and are mechanically coupled by levers to contact points on the scope member which are located on the right and left axes of rotation of the articulator members. This permits the indicators to read, directly, relative vertical movements of the opposite sides of the articulator without being influenced by adjustments made at the opposite sides of the articulator. The inspection device includes ocular magnifiers including reticle and target indicium which cooperate to provide a vernier scale registering relative X-Y positions of the stage and gauge inspection members. The invention also includes magnetically secured dental cast and appliance mounting plates having removable magnets and metal plugs.
