    Abstract: A transmission assembly for converting a garage door operator (GDO) from a ceiling mounted configuration to a jackshaft configuration may include an output coupler for operably coupling a drive tube rotatable to alternately open and close a sectional door, a pinion assembly operably coupled to the output coupler via a flexible coupling member, a releasable coupling assembly, a handle, and a cam operated engagement assembly. The releasable coupling assembly may be operably coupled to a motor output shaft of a GDO motor. The releasable coupling assembly may have an engaged state in which rotation of the motor output shaft is transferred to the pinion assembly and a disengaged state in which the rotation of the motor is not transferred to the pinion assembly. The cam operated engagement assembly may be operably coupled to the handle and the releasable coupling assembly to transition the releasable coupling assembly between the engages state and the disengaged state based on a position of the handle.

    Abstract: An electronic device includes a first device housing and a second device housing. The electronic device includes a hinge housing coupling the first device housing to the second device housing. The hinge housing provides a hinge allowing the first device housing to pivot about the hinge housing between an axially displaced open position and a closed position. A hinge housing plate situated within the hinge housing translates within the hinge housing between a first position and a second position when the first device housing and the second device housing pivot about the hinge housing from the axially displaced open position to the closed position, thereby allowing at least a portion of a service loop defined by a flexible display to situate within the hinge housing when the first device housing and second device housing are in the closed position.

    Abstract: A vehicular slider window assembly includes a frame having upper and lower rails. A fixed window has an opening and the rails are attached at the fixed window. A movable window is movable between a closed position and an opened position. A carrier disposed at a lower edge of the movable window moves with the movable window between the opened and closed positions. A sensing system determines when the movable window is in the closed position and includes a switch assembly that is actuated when the movable window is in the closed position. The switch assembly includes a switch device within a housing. A portion of the housing is an end stop configured to limit movement of the carrier when the movable window is in the closed position. The switch device includes a contact and, when the movable window is in the closed position, the contact actuates the switch device.

    Abstract: A hinge apparatus that includes a stationary hinge portion, which includes a first bracket configured to be attached to a fixed surface, a first arm extending from the first bracket, and a second arm extending from the first bracket. The first and second brackets include axial holes with a hinge pin arranged therethrough. The hinge pin defines a rotation axis. The stationary hinge portion also includes a stop plate extending away from the first bracket and connected to the first arm. The hinge apparatus also includes a rotatable hinge portion, which includes a body arranged around the hinge pin between the first and second arms and a stop body extending from the body along the rotation axis. Ends of the stop body contact the stop plate to limit rotation of the body about the rotation axis. A second bracket configured to be attached to a movable body.
