    摘要： A method for applying a seal to a component includes conveying the component to a removal region while the component is held on a holding element and on a conveyor element. By a first robot, the holding element and the component are removed from the conveyor element, which is in the removal region, and moved to a rotary frame. By the first robot, the holding element and the component are supported on the rotary frame and are disposed in a first region of the rotary frame while the rotary frame is in a first rotational position. The rotary frame is rotated from the first rotational position to a second rotational position. The seal is applied to the component by a second robot while the component is supported on the holding element and on the rotary frame and while the rotary frame is in the second rotational position.

    摘要： A door hole cap having a sealing member to maintain water stopping performance of the door hole cap and reduce manufacturing costs. The door hole cap includes: a capping member having a groove that is recessed toward an inside of a vehicle and the sealing member attached to the groove. The groove is formed along an entire perimeter of the capping member. The sealing member includes: a main body section to be inserted into the groove; a first sealing section which extends from the main body section and which abuts a door inner panel; and a groove touch section which extends from the main body section toward an inner surface of the groove and which abuts the inner surface.

    摘要： A motor vehicle includes a body component and a wing element pivotably coupled to the body component such that the wing element pivots relative to the body component about a pivot axis between a neutral starting position and a first pivot position. A control device of the motor vehicle detects an impending collision of the motor vehicle with a collision object located in the surroundings of the motor vehicle. Upon detecting the impending collision, the control device automatically pivots the wing element toward the body component from the neutral starting position to the first pivot position. The control device of the motor vehicle evaluates a severity of the collision and, depending upon the severity, automatically pivots the wing element away from the body component from the first pivot position to the neutral starting position.

    摘要： A vehicle door including a door water management system is disclosed. The water management system includes a baffle installed within the door to direct water towards a lateral door of the door, preventing water from leaking inside a motor vehicle. The water management system also includes a grommet that is set within an opening of a stiffening member, which is disposed between an exterior skin member and an interior panel member of the vehicle door. The grommet protects a wire running through the opening of the stiffening member and helps prevent water from leaking through that opening.
