Abstract: A display device includes a head including a display formed on a front surface thereof, a circumference having a pair of long sides and a pair of short sides, and one or more first speakers provided on a left short side and one or more second speakers provided on a right short side of the display and configured to be pivotable between a landscape mode in which the long sides are in a horizontal state and a portrait mode in which the long sides are in a vertical state, a sensor configured to detect pivot of the head, and a processor configured to determine a pivot state indicating whether the head is in the landscape mode or the portrait mode based on a result of detection and switch sound signals output by the first speakers and the second speakers when the pivot state of the head is switched.

Abstract: A stand having a base, an arm attached to the base, an electrical connector, and an adjustable mounting head attached to the arm. Abstract: The present application discloses an articulating support arm with improved friction joint designs that are facilitated by the use of a non-annular bushing. In particular, the bushing is designed to interact with another portion of the friction joint to prevent rotational movement of the bushing, thereby minimizing the risk of joint malfunction. A bushing that interacts with a larger percentage of the width of a friction cylinder as compared to prior art devices, thereby improving the performance of the joint, is also disclosed. The improved friction joint according to the present invention may comprise an arm joint and/or tilter joint.

Abstract: A supporting apparatus for suspending two displays includes: a base seat unit including a fixing bracket and a pillar that is connected to the fixing bracket; two suspending arms, each having a first end portion that is movably connected to the pillar unit such that each of the suspending arms is movable along the pillar, and a second end portion that is opposite to the first end portion; two slide track units respectively connected to the second end portions of the suspending arms; and two display-supporting bracket units movably connected to the slide track units for mounting the displays. Through operation of the suspending arms, the sliding track units and the display-supporting bracket units, the displays can be moved to juxtapose and contact each other.
