Abstract: This application provides a method for acquiring a position of a virtual object in a virtual scene performed at an electronic device. The method includes: presenting an operation control of a target virtual prop in a virtual scene; in response to a virtual image generation operation on the operation control, controlling a first virtual object to generate a virtual image corresponding to the first virtual object in the virtual scene by using the target virtual prop; and when a second virtual object interacting with the virtual image exists in the virtual scene, presenting a position of the second virtual object in the virtual scene.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for generating a representation of a motion of an object through a physical topography. In one example, a system receives from a camera a sequence of images that shows the motion of the object within a first field of view of the camera that shows a portion of the physical topography, the portion being mapped to a three-dimensional coordinate space. The object is detected using a computer vision model, and a motion profile of the object is determined that maps the motion of the object to the three-dimensional space. The motion profile is provided to a computing service for being combined with audiovisual data (e.g., including a three-dimensional model of the physical topography), and whereby the combined data is then provided to a user device for subsequent presentation.

Abstract: In some embodiments, the dynamic animation generation system can provide a deep learning framework to produce a large variety of martial arts movements in a controllable manner from unstructured motion capture data. The system can imitate animation layering using neural networks with the aim to overcome challenges when mixing, blending and editing movements from unaligned motion sources. The system can synthesize movements from given reference motions and simple user controls, and generate unseen sequences of locomotion, but also reconstruct signature motions of different fighters. For achieving this task, the dynamic animation generation system can adopt a modular framework that is composed of the motion generator, that maps the trajectories of a number of key joints and root trajectory to the full body motion, and a set of different control modules that map the user inputs to such trajectories.

Abstract: A reference position is determined on the basis of a position of a player character before the player character performs a target action at a first position. When the player character comes into contact with a terrain object at a second position by performing the target action, whether or not a height of the second position with respect to the reference position is equal to or greater than a height threshold is determined. When it is determined that the height of the second position is equal to or greater than the height threshold, the player character is caused to move in a forced movement direction that is a direction toward the first position side with respect to the terrain object among directions away from the terrain object or is a downward direction along the terrain object.
