Abstract: A pedal assembly for a pedal operated device, including: a pedal configured to receive an appendage of a user; a telescoping pedal arm; a plurality of telescoping portions; and a pedal arm retention portion that provides a predetermined resistance to the relative movement of two adjacent ones of the telescoping portions. The pedal arm retention portion has a first recess formed in one of the telescoping portions, a second recess formed in one of the telescoping portions, an engagement portion that is configured to be received in the first recess and the second recess, and a resilient portion that urges the engagement portion into one of the recesses. The plurality of telescoping portions permit the length of the pedal arm to be adjusted, and the pedal arm retention portion is configured such that the predetermined resistance is overcome by moving the pedal in the longitudinal direction.

Abstract: Described is a pedal having a pedal body having an insertion opening and a cavity which, starting from the insertion opening, extends into the pedal body. The pedal further has a pedal axis which is inserted into the pedal body through the insertion opening and extends into the pedal body along the cavity, and at least one bearing arranged on the pedal axis, which is configured to support the pedal body to be rotatable on the pedal axis. According to the invention, a securing element is provided, which is configured to support the bearing on the pedal axis in an axial direction with respect to the pedal axis, in order to secure the pedal axis against falling out from the pedal body, wherein the securing element extends from outside through the pedal body into the cavity to the bearing, and the securing element is accessible from outside.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a split-type footrest. The footrest includes a sucker, a shell and a foot-pedal. The shell is fixedly connected to the sucker. The shell is provided with at least one snapping part. The foot-pedal is correspondingly provided with a hanging arm, and the head of the hanging arm is provided with a lug. The lug is used to be inserted into the snapping part so as to form a detachable snap connection. There are snapping parts symmetrically provided on both sides of the shell respectively. There are two hanging arms and they are arranged on both sides of the foot-pedal respectively. Each hanging arm is provided with a lug, and each lug extends toward the other lug. The lugs are in one-to-one correspondence with the snapping parts. The foot-pedal and the main body can be disassembled for separate transportation, thereby reducing the cost of bulk transportation.

Abstract: A cycle has a frame, a seat, a rear wheel, a front fork and handlebar, a front wheel rotatably secured to the front fork, and first and second pedals removably connected to the front wheel. The seat has a base, a top portion pivotally connected to the base to move between an open position and a closed position, and a cavity between the base and the top portion that is accessible when the top portion is in open position. The cavity has receivers that are sized to hold the first and second pedals after the first and second pedals are removed from the front wheel. The top portion can be moved to the closed position when the first and second pedals are in the receivers to store the first and second pedals in the cavity of the seat.
