摘要: An indicator lock has a rotatable indicator which rotates with the depression of a button on the other side of the lock which is used to simultaneously cause a door to be locked and rotate the indicator. This is accomplished by way of a shaft which rotationally moves with the the locking button. The locking button is pressed inwards and rotates as it is pressed inwards due to a channel which is diagonally disposed relative to the direction the button is pressed. A pin extending out from a shaft of the button is in the diagonal channel and a spring adds tension to push the button and display back to the unlocked configuration. This tension is overcome when the button is pressed and the pin enters into a section of the channel which is parallel to the shaft and direction of button press.

摘要: An exemplary knob assembly includes a knob having a circumferential channel, and a deformable ring seated in the circumferential channel. The ring is normally rotatable relative to the knob such that rotation of the ring does not cause a corresponding rotation of the knob. When gripped with a sufficient gripping force, the ring frictionally engages and rotationally couples with the knob, thereby permitting transmission of torque between the ring and the knob. In certain embodiments, the knob assembly may include a detent mechanism operable to selectively couple the ring and the knob. In certain embodiments, the ring may include protrusions operable to engage pockets in the knob to provide for rotational coupling.

摘要: An exemplary product line system includes a common platform and a plurality of component families, each of which includes a plurality of interchangeable component species configured for use with the common platform. The common platform includes an inside drive assembly and a chassis assembly including a chassis and an outside drive assembly. A lockset assembled from the system includes the common platform and a plurality of modular components. Each of the modular components corresponds to a respective one of the component families, and is provided as a selected species of the corresponding component family. The lockset has a function defined by the set of component species installed to the lockset. The function of the lockset can be changed by altering the set of component species installed to the lockset without disassembling the chassis assembly.

The lock includes a first handle set including a first cover plate which includes a first fitting portion. The transmission mechanism includes a transmission element and a moving component. The transmission element is connected to the first handle set in a manner that the transmission element is incapable of moving along a rotating axis and has an abutting portion. The moving component is disposed on the transmission element in a manner that the moving component is capable of moving along the rotating axis and includes a first engaging groove, a second engaging groove and a second fitting portion. When the transmission element is operated to rotate, the abutting portion is capable of switching between the first engaging groove and the second engaging groove.

摘要: Disclosed is a closure for a door of a shipping container. The closure includes a housing, an outside handle pivotally mounted relative to the housing, an inside handle pivotally mounted relative to the housing, and a catch connected to the inside handle. The closure is configured so that movement of the inside handle between a first position and a second position causes corresponding movement of the catch. A locking mechanism can releasably fix the inside handle relative to the outside handle, such that when in a locked position rotation of the outside handle causes corresponding rotation of the inside handle and when in an unlocked position the inside handle can be rotated independently of the outside handle.

The elongate strip has a plurality of recesses defined along a length of the elongate strip. The lock assembly also includes a lock member configured to be coupled to the second sash and operable to move along the length of the elongate strip. The lock member includes a biasing member and a coupler biased in a direction of the elongate strip by the biasing member. The coupler is configured to enter each of the plurality of recesses to selectively lock the lock member to the elongate strip.
