    摘要: A trochoidal gear pump or engine uses a coaxial hub with the outer and/or inner rotor and an associated rolling element bearing assembly that preferably uses pre-loaded bearings to precisely set the rotational axis and/or the axial position of the rotor with which it is associated. This allows the fixed-gap clearance between the rotor surfaces and the housing surfaces or the other rotor surfaces to be set at a distance that minimizes operating fluid shear forces and/or by-pass leakage and eliminates gear tooth wear thus preserving effective chamber to chamber sealing. The device is useful in handling gaseous and two-phase fluids in expansion/contracting fluid engines/compressors and can incorporate an output shaft that accommodates an integrated condensate pump for use with Rankine cycles. A vent from the housing cavity to a lower pressure input or output port regulates built-up fluid pressure in the housing thereby optimizing the efficiency of the device by controlling bypass leakage.

    摘要: A rotor 1 forming screw teeth is projectingly provided at its outer end 2 on the axis thereof with a center shaft 3. The center shaft 3 is provided at its outer end 4 with a smaller-diameter shaft 5 or a concaved fitting hole. A separate rotor shaft 6 which is to be fitted over the smaller-diameter shaft 5 or fitted into the concaved fitting hole is provided with another concaved fitting hole 7 or smaller-diameter shaft. A metal shaft around which synthetic resin is molded is formed at its peripheral surface with a spiral groove or corrugated groove in the opposite revolutional direction with respect to the revolutional direction of the screw rotor. The spiral groove is formed with smooth arc curved line connecting profiles of adjacent grooves. The shaft is provided with a step, and synthetic resin is molded around the shaft surface to form a screw rotor.

    摘要: A pump chamber defines a capacity increased in a first certain angle range and decreased in a second certain angle range. An intake port is open in an increase range where the pump chamber moves from a minimum capacity position to a maximum capacity position. A discharge port is open in a decrease range where the pump chamber moves from the maximum capacity position to the minimum capacity position, the discharge port being biased to the minimum capacity position. A seal land portion seals a communication between the intake port and the discharge port via the pump chamber. A reduced portion is defined between a communication portion and the pump chamber. A bypass path connects the communication portion with the discharge port. A relief valve intervened in the bypass path opens the bypass path with a pressure of the communication portion increased to or over a set pressure.

    摘要: At a boundary area between a high-pressure portion in which a discharge port of a fuel pump is disposed and a low-pressure portion in which an intake port is disposed, a pressure relief groove extending along the boundary area is formed so as to be communicated with the outside of the pump by pressure relief hole. Alternatively, a slit is formed communicated with the outside. Accordingly, a fuel at a high-pressure area portion can be drained with reliability. Further, by communicating the above pressure relief groove with a positioning pin insertion port, a single hole can serve both as a positioning pin insertion hole and a pressure relief hole.

    摘要: A counterweight is attached to a rotating shaft by a slip fit, combined with two axially abutting surfaces to hold the counterweight. The counterweight is preferably held at one face by a ledge formed on the shaft, and at the opposed face by a portion of the motor rotor. Circumferentially spaced abutting surfaces also hold the counterweight to cause the counterweight to rotate with the rotor. The present invention eliminates the need for separately attaching the counterweight to the shaft, and thus reduces both the complexity of assembly, and also the need for precise manufacturing tolerances for the counterweight.
