    摘要: A method for the determination of lifetime of a filter of an electric discharge machine the electrical discharge machine in consideration of a maximum allowable filter pressure, wherein the time measuring unit counts the machining time ts during which an electric discharge machining process is running, a filter pressure sensor measures the filter pressure p(k), preferably with a predetermined sampling interval, the pressure measurement p(k) and the respective sampling time t(k) are stored, and the sampled measurements p(k) and the respective sampling times t(k) are used to determine the parameters of an exponential function which best fits to the plurality of sampled measurements regression analysis. The determined parameters include the filter lifetime tf, which serves to determine the residual time to the filter replacement tr and/or the calendar deadline of filter expiration.

    摘要: An electrical discharge machining apparatus includes: a surface plate; a machining tank that surrounds the surface plate, retains a machining liquid, and has at least a part that serves as a substantially box-shaped vertically moveable ascent/descent machining tank, the ascent/descent machining tank having an outlet in an ascent/descent inner wall of the ascent/descent machining tank; an ascent/descent device that raises and lowers the ascent/descent machining tank; a sub-tank that receives the machining liquid that overflows from the machining tank; a slit that is provided in an end wall of the sub-tank for allowing a connection member to pass through, the connection member connecting the ascent/descent machining tank and the ascent/descent device; and a seal that is arranged in a gap between the ascent/descent machining tank and an inner wall of the sub-tank and prevents the machining liquid in the machining tank from leaking out into the sub-tank.

    摘要: A semi-watertight structure is used around the elements in an electroerosion machine. The window in the rear wall of the tank is covered by a plate in which a hole has been machined. Through the hole the electrode-holder arm passes into the tank. Semi-watertight coupling is mounted around the hole and is in the electrode-holder arm. A plastic sliding plates of low coefficient of friction covers the window. Between the side wall and the plate is a plastic frame of low coefficient of friction. The frame is placed around the window and fastened to the rear wall of the tank. Bearings hold the plate against the frame. This provides a simple arrangement and avoids the stress normally associated with a completely watertight seal.
