摘要: A catamaran lifting apparatus is disclosed for lifting objects in a marine environment. The apparatus includes first and second vessels that are spaced apart during use. A first frame spans between the vessels. A second frame spans between the vessels. The frames arc spaced apart and connected to the vessels in a configuration that spaces the vessels apart. The first frame connects to the first vessel with a universal joint and to the second vessel with a hinged connection. The second frame connects to the second vessel with a universal joint and to the first vessel with a hinged or pinned connection. Each of the frames provides a space under the frame and in between the barges that enables a package to be lifted and/or a marine vessel to be positioned in between the barges and under the frames. In this fashion, an object that has been salvaged from the seabed can be placed upon the marine vessel that is positioned in between the barges and under the frames.

摘要: Systems and methods for using a mobile crane assembly are provided. The mobile crane assembly includes a mobile crane having a first truss assembly and a second truss assembly spaced apart and movable relative to one another. The first truss assembly and the second truss assembly are each coupled to a rail car end assembly. The mobile crane further comprises an upper gantry assembly movable along the first truss assembly and the second truss assembly. A flat cart is coupled to the rail car end assembly, and a material handling cart is received upon the flat cart and is configured to move between the flat cart and the rail car end assembly based upon input from a controller in electrical communication with the upper gantry assembly.

摘要: The invention relates to a lifting system for lifting elongated objects, comprising a sensor device arranged to identify position and location of an elongated object, a lifting and rotating device, and a control unit for controlling the movement of the lifting and rotating device in response to signals from the sensor device which indicate the position and location of the object. In order to lift elongated objects regardless of object's material, profile or position, the lifting and rotating device is provided with an elongated gripping device including a first gripping arm, and the control unit is configured to control the lifting and rotating device to insert a part of the first gripping arm into the object from one end of the object in order to lift and rotate the object with the inserted part.

摘要: A self-maintaining crane system including a bridge, a trolley, a hoist, and sensors for use within a hostile environment, such as a wastewater treatment facility, is presented. The bridge is movable away from the bridge home position and back toward the bridge end position. The trolley is movable away from the trolley home position and back toward the trolley end position. The cable is extendable away from the hoist home position and retractable toward the hoist end position. The sensors separately determine whether the bridge, trolley, and cable engage a home position and end position. Sensors facilitate automated movement of bridge, trolley, and cable so as to minimize functional impairment of the crane system by the hostile environment.

摘要: A system for moving a bridge crane includes a first drive and a second drive coupled to a support structure, a first sheave and a second sheave coupled to the support structure, and third sheaves coupled to a beam movable in a first axis. The system includes a first line coupled to the first drive, the first sheave, the second sheave, and one or more of the third sheaves. The first line is coupled to a gripping assembly that is coupled to the beam and movable in a second axis. The system includes a second line coupled to the second drive, the first sheave, the second sheave, and the third sheaves. The second line is coupled to the gripping assembly. Rotating the first and second drives causes the beam and the gripping assembly to move in the first axis and/or the gripping assembly to move in the second axis.
