    摘要: An engine system is provided, which includes an engine, a swirl control valve, and a controller. The engine includes a cylinder, a piston, and a fuel injection valve provided incliningly with respect to an axial direction of the piston and configured to directly inject fuel into the cylinder. The swirl control valve is provided inside an intake passage and generates a swirl flow inside the cylinder at least when the valve closes. When an engine load is below a given threshold, the controller controls the swirl control valve to close, and controls the fuel injection valve to inject fuel during an intake stroke. While the engine load is below the threshold, at a fixed engine speed, the controller controls to advance a fuel injection timing when the engine load is at a first load, compared with at a second load higher than the first load.

    摘要: An engine control device controls an engine provided with an EGR device. The engine control device is provided with an abnormality determining unit, a restricted operation unit, and a restriction released operation unit. The abnormality determining unit determines whether an abnormality has arisen in the EGR device. The restricted operation unit performs restricted operation in which some functions of the engine are restricted, if the abnormality determining unit has determined that an abnormality has arisen in the EGR device. If a manipulation to release the restricted operation has been performed, the restriction released operation unit switches from restricted operation to restriction released operation in which the restrictions on some of the functions of the engine are released, and performs said restriction released operation.

    摘要: An engine system includes a throttle device, an EGR valve, and an ECU. The ECU diagnoses foreign-matter lodging abnormality of the EGR valve and the foreign-matter diameter based on intake pressure. When the existence of the abnormality and the foreign-matter diameter are determined, the ECU calculates a difference between a foreign-matter diameter and a predetermined learning determination value as a foreign-matter diameter difference. If this difference is larger than an abnormality determination value, the foreign-matter diameter is judged to be excessive and the throttle device is controlled to avoid engine stall. If the foreign-matter diameter difference is equal to or larger than a normality determination value and also equal to or less than the abnormality determination value, engine deceleration is continued. If the foreign-matter diameter difference is less than the normality determination value, the foreign-matter diameter is judged to be minute and the learning determination value is updated.

    摘要: A supercharging device for an engine is provided, which includes a supercharger provided to an intake passage of the engine, an actuator configured to drive the supercharger, and a controller including a processor configured to control the actuator to drive the supercharger when an operating state of the engine is in a given supercharging range, and to stop the supercharger when the operating state is in a non-supercharging range. The controller causes the actuator to forcibly drive the supercharger in the non-supercharging range when a temperature of the supercharger is lower than a preset temperature, and prohibits the forcible drive of the supercharger when a rotation speed of the supercharger during the forcible drive of the supercharger is lower than a preset rotation speed.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a control apparatus and method for an internal combustion engine including two fuel injection valves in the intake port of each cylinder. In the present invention, fuel injection from a first fuel injection valve is activated while fuel injection from a second fuel injection valve is temporarily stopped at the resumption of fuel injection from the deceleration fuel cut-off state in response to a decrease in the engine rotation speed. The amount of minimum fuel injection to each cylinder that ensures the accuracy of fuel measurement can be reduced, and fuel is injected from the first fuel injection valve in an amount equal to or greater than the amount of minimum fuel injection. Thus, fuel injection can be resumed at a lower engine speed than when fuel injection is resumed from the two fuel injection valves.
