摘要: A cooling structure of a turbine airfoil cools a turbine airfoil (10) exposed to hot gas (1), using cooling air (2) of a temperature lower than that of the hot gas. The turbine airfoil (10) includes an external surface (11), an internal surface (12) opposite to the external surface, a plurality of film-cooling holes (13) blowing the cooling air from the internal surface toward the external surface to film-cool the external surface, and a plurality of heat-transfer promoting projections (14) integrally formed with the internal surface and protruding inwardly from the internal surface. The turbine airfoil further includes a hollow cylindrical insert (20) which is positioned inside the internal surface of the turbine airfoil and to which the cooling air is supplied. The insert has a plurality of impingement holes (21) for impingement-cooling the internal surface (12).

摘要: A crystallization device is for protein crystallization with a small amount of a sample in the liquid to liquid diffusion method. It is easy to fill the device with protein solution and precipitant solution and easy to pick up grown crystals from the device. The device comprises a channel plate made of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and the first and second cover sheets made of polyethylene terephthalate. The channel plate includes at least one elongated channel having one side which extends in the longitudinal direction of the channel, the one side being exposed at the bottom surface of the channel plate. The channel has both ends which communicate with a protein solution inlet and a precipitant solution inlet respectively. The channel also communicates midway with a gel inlet and a vent hole. When picking up grown crystals from the device, the second cover sheet is cut off with a cutter knife so that the channel is exposed.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a technique of enlarging a stable operating range of an intake in accordance with an operating condition of an engine without using a complicated control system so that a wide operating range of the engine can be covered. In an operation stabilization method for a supersonic intake according to the present invention, an enlarged duct between a cowl and a ramp of the intake is divided by a splitter plate such that an opening angle of the enlarged duct decreases. Further, in the operation stabilization method for a supersonic intake according to the present invention, when the duct is divided by the splitter plate, the splitter plate is disposed such that, from among a cowl side duct and a ramp side duct, cross-section variation in one duct, in which an effect of a flow is larger, is reduced within an allowable range of total pressure loss in the other duct.
