摘要: The present invention is directed to a method of pre-treating a lignocellulosic feedstock. The lignocellulosic feedstock comprises cereal straw, stover, or grass. One or more than one bale of lignocellulosic feedstock is conveyed into a pre-treatment reactor. Steam and acid are added to the bales and are maintained at a temperature, acid concentration, and for a time sufficient to hydrolyze hemicellulose to xylose and increase susceptibility of cellulose to digestion by cellulase enzymes, thus producing a pre-treated feedstock. The pre-treated feedstock is then removed from the pre-treatment reactor.

摘要: A medical device for use within a body of a patient includes at least two retention members located at a first end of an elongated section of the medical device. The retention members are adapted to limit longitudinal movement of the elongated section when the medical device is placed within the body of a patient. The elongated section can define a passage and at least one opening in communication with the passage to facilitate passing fluid.

摘要: A Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) having any arbitrary structure is translated into a multi-dimensional data model suitable for performing OLAP operations upon. If a relational table defining the relational model includes any tables with cardinality of 1,1 or 0,1, the tables are merged into a single table. If the relational table is not normalized, then normalization is performed and a relationship between the original table and the normalized table is created. If the relational table is normalized, but not by dependence between columns, such as in the dimension table in a snowflake schema, the normalization process is performed using the foreign key in order to generate the normalized table. Once the normalized table is generated, OLAP measures are derived from the normalized relational table by an automated method. In addition, OLAP dimensions are derived from the normalized relational table and the results of the OLAP measures derivation by an automated method according to the present invention. According to an aspect, it is possible to associate a member of a dimension to another member of the same or another dimension. According to another aspect, it is possible to create a new dimension of analysis, the members of which are all the different values that a scalar expression can take on. According to yet another aspect, it is possible to access the various instances of a Reporting Object as members in an OLAP dimension. According to the yet another aspect, it is possible to apply opaque filters or a combination of them to the data that underlies analysis.

摘要: Multi-component fibers having enhanced reversible thermal properties and methods of manufacturing thereof are described. In one embodiment, a multi-component fiber includes a fiber body formed from a set of elongated members, and at least one of the set of elongated members includes a temperature regulating material having a latent heat of at least 40 J/g and a transition temperature in the range of 22° C. to 40° C. The temperature regulating material provides thermal regulation based on at least one of absorption and release of the latent heat at the transition temperature. The multi-component fiber can be formed via a melt spinning process or a solution spinning process and can be used or incorporated in various products where a thermal regulating property is desired. For example, the multi-component fiber can be used in textiles, apparel, footwear, medical products, containers and packagings, buildings, appliances, and other products.

摘要: A computer readable storage medium includes executable instructions to receive a selection of two or more data source tables from one or more data sources, determine a data source table that defines keys, and receive mapping information that defines one or more column relationships between the data source table and a second data source table. Relationship structures between the data source tables are analyzed. The data source tables and the relationship structures are graphically represented in a sequential order where the order in which the data source tables are depicted is based on a depth of a relationship between the data source table that defines keys and a second data source table.

The executable instructions include instructions to define a data migration path from a source to a target. Audit points are specified within the data migration path. Audit statistics to be generated at the audit points are identified. The audit statistics including data corresponding to individual data values transmitted over the data migration path. Audit rules to be applied against the audit statistics are established.
