Abstract: A system, method, and auditing device for processing electronic devices to detect CPI. The auditing device may include a user interface for communicating information and receiving user input. The auditing device may also include a number of interfaces operable to communicate with the one or more electronic devices. The auditing device may also include a memory operable to store a plurality of libraries providing information for detecting CPI on a number of electronic devices including a number of makes, models, and configurations. The auditing device may also include logic operable to utilize the plurality of libraries to detect CPI included on the one or more electronic devices communicating with the testing device, record an identification of an electronic device in response to detecting the CPI is present on the electronic device, and store an alert associated with the identification indicating that CPI is present on the electronic device.

Abstract: A force actuated modulating control valve such as a direct acting solenoid valve or pilot actuated bellows valve with a knife edge seat so that the metering location on the seat is at the very outer diameter. In one embodiment, a portion of the valve seat outside of the metering edge is removed to substantially the outside diameter to reduce contact with high velocity fluid flow. In certain embodiments, a flow shield may be positioned just outside of the metering edge of the seat to prevent the high velocity fluid from circulating toward parts of the spool assembly. In some embodiments, the flow shield may be fixed to the body of the instrument so all fluid forces are transmitted to the body. Embodiments of the force actuated modulating control valve may be employed in a mass flow controller for controlling fluid flow.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include a method, apparatus, and computer program product for providing a self-validating mass flow controller or mass flow meter. For example, in one embodiment, a self-validating mass flow controller is disclosed that does not require any software modification to a tool/tool controller in which the mass flow controller is being utilized. In other embodiments, a self-validating mass flow controller is disclosed that does not require any hardware or mechanical changes to an existing mass flow controller. Still, the disclosed embodiments further include a self-validating mass flow controller that is configured to determine valve leak and sensor offset simultaneously for performing real time in-situ correction of a mass flow controller's output for zero offset or zero drift in the presence of valve leak.

Abstract: A sample processing device includes a receiving chamber having a chamber inlet and a chamber outlet. The preselected volume of liquid corresponds to a volume of liquid necessary to deliver a metered volume of fluid to the vessel.

Abstract: A moisture protection structure (10) used to protect a device (15) against moisture penetration. The device (15) has a first area (A1) at a first side (S1) for emitting or receiving radiation (RE;RR). The device (15) has a second side (S2) opposite to the first side (S1) attached to a supporting means (20). A lateral side (LS) of the device (15) is defined between a first perimeter delimiting the first area (A1) on the first side (S1) and a second perimeter delimiting a second area (A2) on the second side (S2). The moisture protection structure (10) includes at least one moisture-resistant layer (25) deposited on the first area (A1) and the lateral side (LS) of the device (15) and a moisture-resistant cover (30) arranged to cover the at least one moisture-resistant layer (25) at the first side (S1). The moisture-resistant cover (30) and the at least one moisture-resistant layer (25) are transparent for the emitting or receiving radiation (RE;RR). The moisture protective structure (10) further includes a pressurizing member (55;57;59) attached to the supporting means (20). The pressurizing member (55;57;59) includes an elastic deformable material (40;42) and it is arranged to exert a pressure on the moisture-resistant cover (30) towards the second side (S2) of the device (15). The pressure on the moisture-resistant cover (30) ensures that the first side (S1) of the device (15) is sealed against moisture penetration.
