    Abstract: The present invention provides compositions comprising cellulose fibers and cellulose ester fibers and wet laid articles made from the compositions, as well as wet laid processes to produce these compositions. More specifically, the present invention provided compositions comprising cellulose fibers and cellulose acetate fibers and wet laid articles made from these compositions as well as wet laid processes to produce these compositions. The present invention also relates to developing a composition, process, wet laid product, or articles exhibiting any one of many the desired benefits. The Present invention also relates to a wet laid product having higher air permeability the same or lower pore size relative to a 100% cellulose comparative composition.

    Abstract: A bale of sheets made of virgin cellulose fibers and cellulose ester (CE) staple fibers can be fed to a hydropulper. The CE staple fibers have: i. a denier per filament (DPF) of less than 3, or ii. a cut length of less than 6 mm, or iii. crimping, or iv. a combination of any two or more of (i)-(iii). The bales can be fed and dropped in as entire bales to a hydropulper, or a blend tank directly or indirectly in fluid communication with a hydropulper, using the same feed system employed for feeding cellulose to the hydopulper and avoiding having to defiberize by pulling or drawing fibers from a box container into a hydropulper.

    Abstract: Pre-ground plastics of small particle size not more than 2 mm are co-fed into a solid fossil fuel fed entrained flow partial oxidation gasifier. A syngas composition can be made by charging an oxidant and a feedstock composition comprising recycle plastics and a solid fossil fuel to a gasification zone within a gasifier; gasifying the feedstock composition together with the oxidant in said gasification zone to produce said syngas composition; and discharging at least a portion of said syngas composition from said gasifier; wherein the recycled plastics are added to a feed point comprising a solid fossil fuel belt feeding a grinder after the solid fossil fuel is loaded on the belt, a solid fossil fuel belt feeding a grinder before the solid fossil fuel is loaded onto the belt, or a solid fossil fuel slurry storage tank containing a slurry of said solid fossil fuel ground to a size as the size fed to the gasification zone.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to plasticizer compositions comprising a glycol ether, a dialkyl ether, or glycol ether ester; and certain plasticizers, which offer superior performance in blends containing polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resins.     Abstract: This invention relates to aliphatic, carbamate-functional polyester resins for use in coatings. More particularly this invention relates to aliphatic, carbamate-functional polyester resins containing 2,2,4,4-tetramethyl-1,3-cyclobutanediol (TMCD) that exhibit improved scratch resistance and acid etch resistance when formulated into 2K automotive clearcoats. These carbamate-functional polyesters can be used as the sole resin in the clearcoat binder or in combination with other carbamate-functional acrylic resins and/or hydroxyl-functional acrylic and polyester resins.
