摘要： A preparation method of a high-absorptivity chitosan/bamboo activated carbon composite aerogel include: evenly mixing a chitosan suspension and bamboo activated carbon; dropwise adding glacial acetic acid and stirring to form a solution; dropwise adding a glutaraldehyde solution, and stirring until cross-linking of chitosan is completed; and freezing the obtained liquid in shape, and then performing freeze-drying by means of a vacuum freeze dryer to obtain a chitosan/bamboo activated carbon composite aerogel. The natural, environmentally friendly and degradable chitosan is used as the raw material, bamboo activated carbon is adhered to the chitosan, and the freeze-drying technique is used to prepare the aerogel, so that the bamboo activated carbon is uniformly dispersed and fixed in the three-dimensional space of the aerogel, and the prepared composite aerogel has a high specific surface area and a high porosity, and a high PM2.5 adsorption capacity.

摘要： A filtration media with improved filtration, strength, tear resistance and air permeability in the form of a relatively thin and lightweight wet-laid fibrous web that has a wet Mullen ratio of 60% to 80% to ensure that the media is flexible enough to be formed into a fluted structure, and strong enough to retain the fluted structure when wound into a roll and to permit further processing without the media becoming too brittle. The filtration media comprises a blend of cellulose and synthetic fibers having a weight percent of 81 wt % to 87 wt % of a weight of the media and a resin binder having a weight of 13 wt % to 19 wt % (preferably about 16 wt %) of the weight of the media.

摘要： A self-cleaning filtration media for use in hydrocarbon fluid filtration applications has a first layer on an upstream side and a second layer on downstream side of the self-cleaning filtration media. The first layer is composed of polyethersulfone nanofibers having a diameter of 50-1000 nm (0.05-1 micron) and a basis weight of at least 1 gsm. The second layer is a nonwoven substrate suitable for filtration applications. The self-cleaning filtration media exhibits a dust holding capacity of at least 6 mg/cm2 and a filtration efficiency of greater than 90% for 4 micron particles when the self-cleaning filtration media is tested according to ISO 19438 for fuel filtration and according to ISO 4548-12 for oil filtration. When the second layer includes glass fibers, the self-cleaning filtration media has a dust holding capacity of at least 10 mg/cm2 and a filtration efficiency of greater than 99% for 4 micron particles when the self-cleaning filtration media is tested according to ISO 19438 for fuel filtration and according to ISO 4548-12 for oil filtration. The self-cleaning filtration media also has a fuel-water separation efficiency of at least 99% when a flat sheet is tested according to ISO 16332; and a lifetime of at least 90 minutes when tested with fuel and oil according to ISO 19438 and ISO 4548-12 using Medium Test Dust and a pressure drop of 70 kPa.

Thus, the molded filter has functions of air permeability that is equal to or higher than a PE sintered body CMC filter, short term and long term waterproof properties, and a better microbial barrier property.

摘要： Filter media including a filtration layer comprising fibers (e.g., synthetic fibers) comprising a flame retardant and related components, systems, and methods associated herewith are provided. In some embodiments, a filtration layer may include a nonwoven web (e.g., wet-laid nonwoven web) comprising fibers including a certain flame retardant that has a relatively low concentration of or is substantially free of certain undesirable and/or toxic components (e.g., halogens). In certain embodiments, the nonwoven web may also comprise a blend of fibers. For instance, in some embodiments, the nonwoven web may also comprise a blend of coarse and fine diameter synthetic fibers that impart beneficial performance properties to the filtration layer. In some embodiments, the filtration layer may be designed to have a desirable flame retardancy (e.g., F1 rating, K1 rating) and performance properties without compromising certain mechanical properties (e.g., pleatability of the media) and/or environmental attributes (e.g., relatively low toxicity). Filter media described herein may be particularly well-suited for applications that involve filtering air, though the media may also be used in other applications.
