Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of preparing a composite powder comprising a surface treatment layer of sunscreen. The present invention prepares a composite powder comprising a surface treatment layer of sunscreen by a dry process that does not require separate dehydration and drying processes, and thus, the prepared composite powder may be uniformly surface-treated with more quantities of sunscreens compared to a composite powder comprising a surface treatment layer of sunscreen prepared by a conventional wet process, may exhibit remarkably improved sun screen effect, and be useful for a cosmetic composition.

Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a process for producing downstream products, such as fermentable sugars and end products, from a starch substrate by saccharification and/or fermentation. The saccharification is effectively catalyzed by a glucoamylase at a pH in the range of 5.0 to 8.0. At a pH of 6.0 or above, the glucoamylase possesses at least 50% activity relative to its maximum activity. The saccharification and fermentation may be performed as a simultaneous saccharification and fermentation (SSF) process.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a multi-layered thermoelectric device and a method of manufacturing the same. The method for manufacturing a multi-layered thermoelectric device includes the steps of: forming a P-type semiconductor and an N-type semiconductor in a sheet type by mixing thermoelectric semiconductor materials at a preset component ratio; cutting the sheets according to a preset specification of the thermoelectric device; stacking sheets which are made by mixing the thermoelectric semiconductor materials at a preset component ratio and are cut into the same size for each of them; and forming a final thermoelectric device by compressing the stacked sheets. By using the method, scattering phenomenon due to a short wavelength of phonon occurs at a boundary of each layer, which results in active scattering of phonon. Therefore, it is possible to expect an effect of improving a thermoelectric figure of merit of a thermoelectric device.

Abstract:
A method and an apparatus maximize the capacity of a wireless communication network by taking into consideration inter-cell interference coordination. A home cell's capacity sensitivity to interference is calculated. At least one neighbor cell's capacity sensitivity to interference is collected. And at least one UE located in the home cell is scheduled based on the home cell's capacity sensitivity and the neighbor cell's capacity sensitivity. Accordingly, it is possible to achieve power and allocation control to maximize the capacity of the overall network including neighbor cells increase the system capacity in a cellular system in which inter-cell interference is large, and adaptively perform a UE scheduling in real time to changing distribution of UEs because information on a change in the capacity of each cell is shared by periods.
Abstract:
There is provided a chip-type electric double layer capacitor including: an exterior case having a housing space provided therein and formed of insulation resin; first and second external terminals buried in the exterior case, each having a plurality of first surfaces exposed to the housing space and a second surface exposed to an outside of the exterior case; and an electric double layer cell electrically connected to the plurality of first surfaces of the first and second external terminals exposed to the housing space. The chip-type electric double layer capacitor may be reduced in size and weight and increased in capacity. Also, the chip-type electric double layer capacitor allows for surface mounting without any additional structure and has low equivalent series resistance (ESR).
Abstract:
A solenoid valve controlled by wireless communication, in which the operation of the valve is controlled by wireless communication, thereby reducing costs and labors necessary for installation and maintenance. The solenoid valve includes a valve body having an inlet port, through which fluid is introduced, and an outlet port, through which fluid is discharged; a plunger movably mounted inside the valve body to open or close one or both of the inlet and outlet ports; a solenoid, which drives the plunger to a position, in which the plunger opens or closes one or both of the inlet and outlet ports, when electric power is supplied; and a communication module provided on the valve body. The communication module receives a wireless control signal transmitted from outside and controls the electric power supplied to the solenoid valve depending on the wireless control signal.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a label and a method of manufacturing the same, the label comprising: a first base film; a first ink layer formed on the exterior top part of the first base film, and comprising a metal or metal oxide that changes from its original color to another color by being oxidized by a laser; and a resin coating layer coated on the first ink layer to protect the first ink layer, wherein the laser passing through a part or the whole of the resin coating layer is transmitted to the first ink layer. According to the present invention, there is no oxidation residue; thus, the efficiency of marking is excellent and any possibility of change in quality due to aging can be eliminated. In addition, the color rendering is excellent, and the scratch resistance, chemical resistance and heat resistance are superior.
Abstract:
