    Abstract: Systems and methods for broadcast control channel power boost scheduling for wireless communications base stations are provided. In one embodiment, a method comprises transmitting a downlink wireless communication frame from a base station to UE within a coverage area, the downlink wireless communication frame comprising a first bandwidth divided into a first plurality of resource blocks; determining when a slot of the frame is scheduled to carry a downlink broadcast control channel; when the slot is not scheduled to carry the downlink broadcast control channel, scheduling the first plurality of resource blocks for the slot; when the slot is scheduled to carry the downlink broadcast control channel, scheduling fewer resource blocks than the first plurality of resource blocks for the slot in a second bandwidth smaller than the first bandwidth; and modulating the slot using a number of subcarriers corresponding to a number of scheduled resource blocks.

    Abstract: A method for delivering a network slice to a user is disclosed. The method includes receiving communication from a network slice artifact comprising a multi-segment filename that includes a first segment comprising instructions for executing the network slice artifact, and a second segment comprising an identity of a network slice instantiable by the network slice artifact. The method also includes retrieving a set of executable instructions associated with the network slice from a data store of the network in response to receiving the communication from the network slice artifact, and communicating the set of executable instructions to the network slice artifact whereby the network slice artifact instantiates the network slice transforming the computer system into an endpoint node of the network slice. The method further includes completing the instantiation of the network slice in response to receiving the communication from the network slice artifact.

    Abstract: A wireless communication network serves a wireless User Equipment (UE) over a working network slice and a protect network slice. The wireless communication network receives UE capability data from the wireless UE that indicates the working network slice and the protect network slice. The wireless communication network determines UE context for the working network slice and for the protect network slice. The wireless communication network exchanges initial user data with the wireless UE over the working network slice based on the UE context. The wireless communication network exchanges additional user data with the wireless UE over the protect network slice based on the UE context when performance of the working network slice triggers a slice switch based on the UE context.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for dynamically disabling beamforming for particular user devices. At a node that utilizes carrier aggregation, a node, such as an eNodeB or a gNodeB, communicates with a user device that is located at a cell edge, the communicating comprising transmitting data on at least two channels that utilize beamforming. Performance of the user device is determined to be below a predetermined threshold. When this occurs, beamforming capabilities are disabled for at least one of the at least two channels used to communicate with the user device.
