Abstract: In an image sensor including a first column readout line and a second column readout line provided to each pixel column, a plurality of pixel rows are divided into pixel rows of a first group and pixel rows of a second group, pixels of the pixel rows of the first group output signals to the first column readout line, and pixels of the pixel rows of the second group output signals to the second column readout line. A shortest distance between a conversion region of a first pixel of a pixel row of the first group and the first column readout line to which a signal from the first pixel is output is not more than a shortest distance between the conversion region of the first pixel and the second column readout line to which the signals from the pixels belonging to the pixel rows of the second group are output.

Abstract: A required draining capacity of an electrically-powered oil pump is reduced and a small sizing of the electrically-powered oil pump is achieved by devising how to issue a starting frictional element engagement pressure command value.[Means for Solving the Problem]An engine is restarted in response to an idle stop OFF command at t1 so that a gear shift control purpose hydraulic pressure is raised according to a working oil from an engine driven oil pump. An idle stop release time control of the engine is allowed according to a torque down unnecessary determination when a gear shift control purpose hydraulic pressure has reached to a set hydraulic pressure at t2. In a case where this allowance causes an engine torque Te to be raised from a torque down value toward a driving operation corresponding value by a predetermined gradient ΔTe1, a command value of a starting frictional element engagement pressure PS is set to a control maximum value (a drain port opening angle of a clutch hydraulic pressure control valve for a clutch hydraulic pressure (an engagement pressure) command value is made small as compared with that in a case of an ordinary control (is made difficult to drain)) during the idle stop control including during the idle stop release time control. Thus, when starting frictional element engagement pressure PS is controlled upon receipt of this command value, the working oil from the electrically-powered oil pump is not needed to be drained. Consequently, the electrically-powered oil pump is not needed to discharge this draining working oil and the small-sizing can be achieved.

Abstract: A method of asbestos detoxification in which an asbestos-containing waste material in any form is made harmless while preventing asbestos particles or dust from flying or scattering. The asbestos content can be easily reduced in a short time to 0.1 wt. % or lower, which is prescribed by the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare. The waste can be perfectly made harmless. Also provided is an aqueous solution for asbestos detoxification which is for use in the method. The method of asbestos detoxification comprises: bringing an asbestos-containing waste material into contact with an aqueous treating solution containing at least one fluoride ion source selected from the group consisting of the fluorides of alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, and ammonia and hydrofluoric acid and further containing at least one mineral acid selected from the group consisting of hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, and nitric acid so that the aqueous treating solution has a pH of 1 or lower; and allowing the resultant mixture to stand or stirring it while adding the mineral acid so as to keep the pH of the aqueous treating solution at 1 or lower. Thus, the asbestos in the asbestos-containing waste material is made harmless.
