A mark information is recorded in an area which is on a circumference of a magnetic disk corresponding to a last track in which a servo information write is ended or a track, which is one or two in front of the last track in which servo information is not written and the mark information is detected by returning a magnetic head in a radial direction of the magnetic disk by a fine movement stage after the magnetic head is moved to a next aimed track by a coarse movement stage. The servo information write position is detected by the magnetic head and the servo information is written in a servo information write position of a next track by positioning the magnetic head therein by using the fine movement stage.
Abstract:
A magnetic head position control method is provided to control a magnetic head to follow the track on a DTM disk by accurately detecting the eccentricity compensation amount through a simple process. An angle detection unit detects θ1 at which the relative displacement between the magnetic head and the tracks on the DTM disk has a peak with no vibration data added. A vibration data calculation unit calculates first vibration data with first vibration amplitude, so that the displacement has a peak at θ2 displaced from θ1 by a predetermined value. The angle detection unit detects θ3 at which the relative displacement has a peak with the first vibration data added. A compensation data calculation unit calculates compensation data for the eccentricity of the tracks, from the detected angles θ1, θ3, the first vibration amplitude, and θ2. The position of the magnetic head is compensated according to the correction data.

It is difficult to check the suitability of a radio anechoic room as a measuring environment, even when countermeasures for preventing reflection of electromagnetic waves and blocking electromagnetic waves are taken against the radio anechoic room and incidental equipment disposed therein, for example. Depending on the circumstances, measurement reliability is decreased when the measurement is taken without recognizing that these countermeasures are insufficient. Therefore, there is a demand for a device that can easily and quickly check whether a measuring environment, such as a radio anechoic room, or a measuring system is suitable for measurement. This function can be performed by a reference oscillator assembly, including a radiating section formed by removing a part of an outer conductor from a linear coaxial feedline, the removed part having a predetermined size and extending from an upper end of the coaxial feedline toward a lower end thereof, an oscillator electrically connected to the lower end of the coaxial feedline so as to supply high-frequency power, and magnetic members respectively provided at upper and lower ends of a remaining part of the outer conductor of the coaxial feedline.

Driving support systems, methods, and programs for a host vehicle receive braking information from another vehicle traveling in front of the host vehicle. The systems, methods, and programs obtain current speed information of the host vehicle and obtain inter-vehicle distance information indicating a distance between the other vehicle and the host vehicle. The systems, methods, and programs generate host vehicle braking information based on the other vehicle braking information, the vehicle speed information, and the inter-vehicle distance information, the host vehicle braking information recommending a braking operation for the host vehicle. Based on the host vehicle braking information, the systems, methods, and programs control the host vehicle.

A print data forming apparatus has an authentication information setting unit which sets authentication information into a print job. A print processing apparatus has: a print job storing unit which receives and stores the print job in which the authentication information has been set; an operation panel control unit which receives the authentication information based on a print request; an authentication discriminating unit which compares the authentication information based on the print request received through the operation panel control unit with the authentication information of the stored print job, thereby discriminating whether or not they coincide; and a print job managing unit which, if they coincide, allows all print jobs having the authentication information that coincides with the authentication information based on the print request among the stored print jobs to be print-processed. A print system which can perform the authentication printing with high workability is obtained.

A management computer (21) is placed in a home country, and an instructor terminal (31) and a driver terminal (32) are placed in a delivery area overseas. The management computer (21) generates screen information, displayed in a domestic language and including a delivery instruction for a package, and transmits the screen information toward the instructor terminal (31) and the driver terminal (32). The instructor terminal (31) or the like, specifies a language, to be used in an area to which a delivery destination belongs, from the address of the delivery destination included in the delivery instruction in the received screen information, and translates the screen information in the specified language, then displays it. When a display language is designated, the instructor terminal (31) or the like translates the screen information in the designated language and displays it.

A first memory is written with the data series subjected to error correction decoding by the error correction decoding unit. When the data series undergoing error correction decoding is written to the first memory, an address generator supplies write addresses and when the data series written to the first memory is read out of the first memory at random, the address generator supplies random read addresses.
