摘要: Facilitation of communication of radio resource quality to a mobile application is provided. In one example, a method comprises: determining, by a device coupled to a processor, a peak-to-average loading ratio of a loading of a radio of a base station device and a mobility factor of the radio, wherein the loading relates to an amount of data being handled by the radio; and determining, by the device, class information for the radio of the base station device, wherein the class information comprises a value indicative of the peak-to-average loading ratio and the mobility factor of the radio, wherein the class information is correlatable to a bit rate at which a mobile device is to execute an application of a mobile device, and wherein the radio is communicatively coupled to the mobile device.

摘要: A more efficient network can be achieved using over the air (OTA) software updates for connected vehicles. Based on a connected vehicles batter power, OTA updates can be performed in accordance with base station devices while the base station devices are not at or near a capacity. Other factors that can determine when and where an OTA software push is performed can comprise vehicle speed, base station communication range, traffic density, etc. Analysis of historical route data for vehicles and historical capacity data for base station devices can also help facilitate determining a wireless network availability for connected vehicles.

摘要: Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for enabling access to restricted data using geofences. A system can identify a device associated with restricted data that includes network data that law prohibits the use of for commercial purposes without authorization. The system can determine use parameters associated with the device, each of the use parameters including a device identifier, a geofence, time limits, and an indication of purposes. The system can determine if the device is at a geographic location that satisfies the location that is defined by the geofence, if the time limits associated with the geofence are satisfied, and if a purpose for which the restricted data will be used matches a one of the purposes. If the system determines that the location, time limits, and purposes are satisfied, the system can use the restricted data for the purpose.

摘要: A mobile communications device may determine whether to report information regarding operation of the mobile device on a mobile network. The determination may be based on a reporting parameter set by a network control device and received via a broadcast message from a radio access node. The mobile device may compare the value of the reporting parameter to a randomly generated number. Based on the comparison, the mobile device may determine whether or not to provide information regarding operation of the mobile device or the radio access node to the network control device. The network control device may adjust the value of the reporting parameter to control the likelihood that a mobile device will report.

摘要: A mobile communications system includes a transceiver and a packet subsystem server of a mobile communications network for the transceiver. The transceiver can transceive wireless signals with mobile devices in a coverage area using wireless connections to exchange data with application servers. For each wireless connection the packet subsystem server can determine weighted scores using different weights for each of direct radio measures, a packet retransmission rate of the mobile communications network, and a throughput data rate. The packet subsystem server can determine an aggregated score from the weighted scores and determine a data-rate-control decision for the wireless connection using the aggregated score. The data-rate-control decision can be outputted to a packet core handling system of the mobile communications network for controlling the data rate of data transmitted using the wireless connection.
