摘要: A user assistance system comprising a wearable device that enhances personal safety and health management. The wearable device includes an enclosure with a display screen to display a multidimensional code and an input interface for SOS signals. Additionally, the enclosure includes a geolocation unit and a data transceiver for communication with a mobile terminal. The mobile terminal scans the multidimensional code, establishes a communication link with the wearable device, and receives a user profile. The user profile includes emergency contacts, login details, and medical data. In emergencies, the system activates an SOS protocol, transmits a notification with the location of user to designated recipients, and facilitates response and assistance.

摘要: A mobile device can wirelessly connect, using transceivers, to a medical item and a wristband worn by a user. The mobile device includes a software application enabling a user to input distance thresholds. The wristband can also include a software application enabling a user to input distance thresholds. Both the mobile device application and the wristband application can monitor signals between the medical item and wristband. In another system, a medical item distance alert system can include a plurality of medical items. In another system, a mobile device is not in communication with the wristband or medical items. The wristband software application can monitor signals between medical items and provide alerts in the absence of another mobile device. Preferably, ultra-wideband (UWB) and Bluetooth transceivers can be implemented to provide accurate distance estimates with low power usage.

摘要: The personal alarm device communicates with emergency personnel, such as an emergency dispatcher at 911, and emergency contacts. The user depresses an emergency button that initiates communication with the emergency personnel and the emergency contacts. A covering, such as an outer rim or bezel, covers the emergency button, to limit access to the emergency button. The user rotates the covering to align an opening in the covering with the emergency button. Pressing the emergency button transmits communications to emergency personnel and the emergency contacts. These communications include a phone call, a recorded message, a text message, or other message. The alarm device also provides a light and speaker to assist the user. The speaker plays the audio of the phone call and plays an alarm to alert others in the vicinity of the user.

A lockdown communicator is configured to produce a lockdown initiation communication for communicating initiation of lockdown procedures to the facility occupants and individuals not disposed proximate the facility upon transmission of the lockdown initiation signal, the lockdown initiation communication being recognizably distinguishable from the fire alarm communication. A display is configured to indicate status of each of the multiple doors of the facility upon transmission of the lockdown initiation signal, the status including at least one of open versus closed, and locked versus unlocked.

摘要: The present invention provides a system and methods for notifying first responders of the general or specific location of a security crisis or threat in a building or public location, and the type of threat or crisis that has occurred, while notifying building occupants or others in the public location of the crisis and how to respond. The crisis management and notification system provides critical information to the first responders, including initial location of the crisis and whether the crisis location has changed in real time, audio and video input of the crisis arena, communications with designated occupants in the crisis arena, static building or location information, and other information. The crisis notification system can be scaled to allow the effective use in facilities of differing sizes and layouts. The system is also flexible, enabling the system to integrate with currently existing systems or to operate with new devices.

摘要: A system and method for providing distributed on-street valet parking with the aid of a digital computer is provided. Parking spaces for valet services are reserved. One of the reserved parking spaces is designated as a valet drop-off parking space. A motor vehicle is detected in the valet drop-off parking space and a notification that the motor vehicle requires parking is provided to a valet of the detected motor vehicle. A search is conducted for the reserved parking spaces available for valet services for the motor vehicle. At least one of the reserved parking spaces available for the motor vehicle is identified and the motor vehicle is parked in the identified reserved parking space.
