摘要： An outer peripheral length of an intermediate transfer drum of a color laser beam printer is constituted in which a number of a beam detection signal obtained by one rotation of the transfer drum is formed as an integral number of a face number of a polygon mirror. A passing-through detection means detects the passing-through of a specified position mark on a photosensitive body belt and is provided on the photosensitive body drum at predetermined position. An image data requirement signal generating means controls a generating timing of an image data requirement signal for forming a toner image by the passing-through detection signal. A scanning line at a raster direction based on the beam detection signal after the transfer drum has rotated at one rotation returns and overlapped on a scanning line position formed on the first beam detection signal as a standard. A plural toner images having a different color each are formed on the transfer drum without color offset.

摘要： A recording apparatus using a semiconductor laser comprises a video signal processor which reduces the time for conduction of current in a semiconductor laser diode by cutting away a pulse signal for turn on/off of the semiconductor laser diode at its leading and trailing edges. For both a one pulse signal representative of an isolated one dot and a one pulse signal representative of continuous plural dots, the signals being transmitted from a host, the processor contracts the pulse width of the pulse signal at its leading and trailing edges to permit uniform recording which is not influenced by the manner of arranging dots.

摘要： An apparatus for measuring the flow rate of water vapor in a process gas including steam includes a sample system having a dew point meter and a pressure meter, and an inert gas supply device for mixing an inert gas with a process gas in the sample system. The process gas comprises a first gas, such as natural gas, and steam. A partial pressure calculating unit calculates the partial pressure of the water vapor contained in the gas mixture on the basis of the dew point of the mixture measured by the dew point meter and the pressure measured by the pressure meter. A flow rate calculating unit calculates the flow rate of the steam contained in the process gas on the basis of the water vapor partial pressure, the inert gas flow rate, and the flow rate of the first gas in the process gas.

摘要： An apparatus for processing a binary video signal carrying information of dots to be printed. The binary video signal is at a relatively higher or lower level for the whole of each bit time to constitute a unit portion of the binary video signal. The unit portion of the binary video signal at one of the levels is representative of one dot. The apparatus includes a first detector for detecting a start of a length of each of those parts of the binary video signal which are at the one level, a second detector connected with the first detector for determining the number of unit portions contained in each part of the video signal, a generator connected with the second detector for producing one or more dot pulses for each part of the video signal, each of the dot pulses having a pulse width smaller than that corresponding to the bit time, the number of the one dot pulses being the same as that of the determined number of unit portions, and a controller connected with the generator for controllably adjusting the pulse width of the dot pulses.

摘要： A thermal transfer printer wherein the carriage is equipped with the ribbon cassette and the thermal head and has a take-up shaft engageable with the take-up core of the ribbon cassette, and clutch means is provided between the motion converting means and the take-up shaft of the carriage, rotational force is transmitted from said motion converting means to the clutch means, and the clutch means cuts off the transmission of the rotational force to the take-up shaft. The rubbing transfer phenomenon does not occur, since, the ink ribbon starts to travel before the thermal head contacts the platen or after the thermal head separates the platen. It is possible to effect control such that no rubbing transfer occurs even when the thermal head is pressed against the platen to effect printing while the carriage is moving transversely at high speed.

摘要： A thermal trasfer printer including a thermal head, and a platen positioned against the thermal head through a printing sheet. The thermal head has a substrate formed of heat insulating material, at least one glaze layer on a top surface of the substrate extending longitudinally thereof, a plurality of heat generating elements on the glaze layer, a plurality of electrodes each connected to the heat generating elements in a manner to form an opening for the heat generating elements and a protective layer for preventing the electrodes and heat generating elements from contacting the printing sheet to avoid their wear. A portion of the protective layer for protectng the heat generating elements has a height which is greater by more than 5 .mu.m than the height of a portion of the protective layer for protecting the electrodes. The width of the glaze layer transversely of the substrate is less than 200 .mu.m at a location which is 10 .mu.m below a top surface of the portion of the protective layer for protecting the heat generating elements in a vertical direction. The platen is a flat platen and its deflection caused to occur by a biasing force exerted on the thermal is more than 0.02 time and less than twice as great as the height of the glaze layer.
