Abstract:
A laser induced thermal imaging apparatus and a fabricating method of organic light emitting diodes using the same, which laminate an acceptor substrate and a donor film using a magnetic force in vacuum, and are used to form a pixel array on the acceptor substrate. A substrate stage includes a magnet or magnetic substance. The acceptor substrate has a pixel region for forming first, second, and third sub-pixels, and the donor film has an organic light emission layer to be transferred to the pixel region. A laser oscillator irradiates a laser to the donor film. A contact frame is adapted to be disposed between the substrate stage and the laser oscillator, and is used to form a magnetic force with the substrate stage. The contact frame includes an opening through which the laser passes. A contact frame feed mechanism moves the contact frame in a direction of the substrate stage.
Abstract:
The emission intensity of a laser beam source, at a time when a laser beam emitted from the laser beam source and scanned by an optical scanning device becomes incident to a laser beam detector provided in a predetermined position on the scanning path of the laser beam in order to hold a position of an electrostatic latent image formed on a photoreceptor constant in the main scanning direction, while at the same time, changing the emission intensity of the laser beam, is set so as to become the consistently same emission intensity regardless of a change in emission intensity at the time of electrostatic latent image formation onto a photoreceptor. This allows the detection timing of a laser beam by a laser beam detector to be kept constant.
Abstract:
A drive device to drive a plurality of three-terminal light emitting elements includes a drive circuit. The drive circuit includes a first and second conductive type MOS transistor complementarily connected to each other and configured to drive three-terminal light emitting elements that are in conduction state based on a received drive signal. The first conductive type MOS transistor is formed in a substrate region and includes a channel formation region, which is a region wherein a channel is to be formed. An impurity with the same polarity as that of the substrate region is injected in the channel formation region.

A side determination apparatus of an optical disc includes a light source illuminating one side of the optical disc having a data side and a non-data side obliquely; a sensor receiving a reflected light from the optical disc illuminated by the light source; and a determination unit determining that an incident light into the sensor is a reflected diffracted light from the data side of the optical disc based on a distribution of an output of the sensor onto a surface of the disc to determine the one side.
Abstract:
In various embodiments, an optical disc drive, programs embodiment in computer readable media, and related methods for writing a label to an optical disc using an optical disc drive. In one embodiment, a label is written on the optical disc, the label being embodied in a plurality of tracks that are written onto a surface of the optical disc. A delay is imposed between the writing of consecutive ones of the tracks in the optical disc drive. The length of the delay is determined in part by a length of time it takes to transition from a completion of a first one of the tracks to a starting position to write a next consecutive one of the tracks.

Abstract:
An optical scanner emits a light beam in accordance with an image forming signal and deflects the light beam in a first direction. A scanned face is adapted to be scanned by the deflected light beam to form a scanning line while being moved in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, thereby forming a latent image thereon. A virtual scanned face is defined as a plane including the scanning line and orthogonal to an optical axis of the optical scanner. The shape of a beam spot formed by the light beam incident on the virtual scanned face is approximated to an ellipse. The scanned face is inclined from the virtual scanned face so as to rotate about the scanning line, in accordance with an inclined angle of an major axis of the ellipse from the second direction on the virtual scanned face.
Abstract:
An optical scanning apparatus provides improved image quality by changing the amount of writing scale compensation for a pixel clock during a scanning cycle. A pixel clock generation unit of the optical scanning apparatus divides the scanning cycle into multiple division periods. A phase change of the pixel clock is carried out for each of the division periods. The phase change can also be different from scanning cycle to scanning cycle.
