摘要： A weather strip includes an attaching base portion, and a hollow seal portion. The attaching base portion has a generally L-shaped cross-section, and includes a bottom wall and an exterior side wall. An elongation/shrinkage prevention portion is formed such that when the attaching base portion is curved in a direction of a width of the exterior side wall, a neutral axis of curvature is disposed at a position slightly offset toward a widthwise distal end of the exterior side wall from that portion of the exterior side wall continuous with the bottom wall. A double adhesive tape is bonded at least to that portion of an interior surface of the exterior side wall extending toward the distal end of the exterior side wall from a region at which a first hollow connecting portion of the hollow seal portion and the exterior side wall are interconnected.

摘要： A door weather strip for sealing a gap between a door of a motor vehicle and a door opening portion of a vehicle body has an outside strip portion, an inside strip portion and a connection portion for integrally connecting the outside strip portion and the inside strip portion to each other. The outside strip portion has a base part for attachment to an inside part of a retainer, and a seal part. The seal part has a seal wall and a connection wall. The seal wall curves outwardly into an arc-shaped cross-section, a lower end of the seal wall contacts a rear face of an outside end of a door molding, and when the door is closed, the seal wall turns about the base part, and moves toward a bottom of the retainer while sliding on the rear face of the outside end of the door molding.

摘要： A weather strip for a motor vehicle, which is capable of providing a seal between an opening portion of a vehicle body, and a closing member for closing the opening portion. The weather strip includes a base portion in which a flange provided in the opening portion of the vehicle body or the closing member is adapted to be inserted and a seal portion integrally formed with the base portion for contacting the opening portion or the closing member, and sealing between the opening portion and the closing member. The base portion holds a sealant member which is formed separately from the base portion and is composed of a highly foamed sponge material with a specific gravity of not more than 0.2 with a bottom wall thereof, and a projecting end of the flange is inserted into the sealant member.

The weather strip includes a base portion in which the flange provided in the opening portion or the closing member is adapted to be inserted, and a seal portion integrally formed with the base portion for sealing between the opening portion and the closing member. An extension wall extends from an end of an outer side wall of the base portion by way of a bending part. The extension wall is bonded to a body panel defining the opening portion or the closing member, which is adjacent to the flange, with a double-sided adhesive tape.

摘要： A weather strip includes a fixing base fixed to a periphery of a door that closes an opening in a vehicle body. A seal portion of the weather strip is unitarily formed with the fixing base, and the seal portion includes a hollow seal portion that seals between the door and a rim of the opening. A seal bridge of the weather strip is formed in the hollow seal portion and unitarily extends from the fixing base to an inside wall of the hollow seal portion where the opening rim contacts the hollow seal portion. The seal bridge of the weather strip is formed in a curved shape and divides the hollow seal portion into a plural space. The seal bridge reduces noise without significantly increasing the door closing force.

摘要： A window frame is constituted by an inner panel, an outer panel and a door sash which are formed by press molding, and a glass run body of a glass run is attached and locked in an attachment groove provided in the door sash. A trim formed separately from the glass run is attached to an interior flange of the inner panel and an interior flange of the door sash so that an exterior holding lip of the trim is brought into pressure contact with an interior holding lip provided on the glass run. A door glass is adapted to be guided to slide by seal lips of the glass run. The interior flange of the door sash and the attachment groove are integrally formed as a single component and the relative positions of these two parts are kept stable.
