Abstract: The present technology allows coordination of channels of private wireless networks utilizing shared licensed and unlicensed spectrum. Wireless network operators in an enterprise location register to participate in a consortium and register licensed, shared, and unlicensed spectrum resources to be shared with other members of the consortium. The wireless network operators request an allocation of spectrum resources from the consortium. The consortium generates a radio resource management (“RRM”) plan for shared use of the licensed, shared, and unlicensed spectrum resources. The consortium combines the allocated licensed, shared, and unlicensed spectrum from each of the wireless network operators to meet the target RRM plan. The consortium monitors spectrum utilization to dynamically update the RRM. The consortium monitors spectrum utilization in real time to determine how closely the RRM plan matches the resources allocated to each wireless network operator.

Abstract: An access point in a wireless network communicates wirelessly with one or more client devices over a channel that includes a plurality of subchannels. Radar is detected on a first subchannel of the plurality of subchannels. It is determined to puncture the first subchannel, based on the detecting the radar on the first subchannel and based on one or more puncturing factors. The first subchannel is punctured, the puncturing comprising muting one or more subcarriers on the first subchannel.

Abstract: Optimization of radio communications of a wireless network of a local site may be provided. A probe frame or an association frame may be received from a Client Device (CD) operating in the local site that identifies at least one operating class and Multi-Link (ML) capability information of the CD. Channel information of at least one Access Point (AP) having ML capability in the local site may be embedded in a probe response frame or in an association response frame based on the at least one operating class and the ML capability information of the CD. The probe response frame or the association response frame that includes the channel information of the at least one AP having ML capability in the local site may be transmitted, as unicast, to the CD.

Abstract: Parallel Redundancy Protocol (PRP) using non-overlapping Resource Unit (RU) groupings may be provided. A first computing device may associate to a first Access Point (AP) at a virtual Media Access Control (MAC) address. Next, the first computing device may associate to a second AP at the virtual MAC address. Then data from a data frame may be replicated to a first one or more RUs in a channel. The first one or more RUs may be assigned to the first AP. Data from the data frame may then be replicated to a second one or more RUs in the channel. The second one or more RUs may be assigned to the second AP and may not overlap the first one or more RUs.

Abstract: Automated activation of unsolicited probe responses may be provided. Probe traffic data may be received. Then, based on the probe traffic data, a plurality of probe traffic cost metrics may be determined. Each one of the plurality of probe traffic cost metrics may be respectively associated with a plurality of Unsolicited Probe Response (UPR) modes. An Access Point (AP) may then be operated in a one of the plurality of UPR modes that has a respective probe traffic cost metric that indicates a lowest probe traffic cost of the plurality of probe traffic cost metrics.

In one aspect, a method includes estimating by a controller, first signal information of a signal transmitted by an access point and received at a client device, the first signal information being from the perspective of the access point, the client device operating at a boundary of an area serviced by the access point; determining, by the controller, second signal information for the signal, the second signal information being from the perspective of the client device; and performing, by the controller, roaming management of the client device based on the first signal information and the second signal information.

Abstract: Improved mesh performance using Overlapping Basic Service Set (OBSS) coloring and transmission scheduling may be provided. A controller may determine that a plurality of Access Points (APs) in a mesh network each have a Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) that is in a predetermined range. Next, the controller may assign, in response to determining that the plurality of APs each have the RSSI that is in the predetermined range, OBSS colors to links between the plurality of APs to limit packet collision in the mesh network between the plurality of APs. The controller may then create a transmission schedule for transmissions between the plurality of APs in the mesh network based on the assigned OBSS colors.

Abstract: An access point allocates resource units within a first channel to mitigate interference from an adjacent second channel. The access point obtains a measure of signal strength corresponding to each wireless device attached to an access point, and assigns, for each wireless device, resource units with a first frequency band of the first channel to mitigate interference with a second frequency band of a second channel adjacent to the first channel. An assignment between a set of resource units and a particular wireless device is based on the measure of signal strength corresponding to the particular wireless device. The access point communicates with the wireless devices on the resource units.

Abstract: Adaptive guard interval calibration may be provided. A computing device may receive a first plurality of delay spread values. Each of the first plurality of delay spread values may respectively comprise an amount of time between when each of a respective first plurality Access Points (APs) receives a first tuning symbol from a first calibrating AP and when each of the respective first plurality APs receives a final multipath reflection of the first tuning symbol. Next, a first Guard Interval (GI) may be determined based on the first plurality of delay spread values. The first calibrating AP may then be provisioned with the first GI.
