Abstract:
Provided are an apparatus and method for processing analog monitoring signals by using a serial bus. The apparatus includes a multiplexer receiving at least one analog signal and outputting only one of the at least one analog signal in response to a predetermined control signal; an analog-to-digital converter converting the output analog signal into a digital signal; a first controller generating the control signal, outputting the control signal to the multiplexer, and controlling the operation of the analog-to-digital converter; and a bus controller outputting the digital signal via an external serial bus. Accordingly, analog monitoring signals are received, converted into digital data, and output via serial bus even when a large number of analog monitoring signals are present, only if the address input to the apparatus is identical to unique address of the apparatus.

A sub opening/closing device is provided adjacent to a passenger seat so as to open and close a window of a passenger seat. A plurality of main electrodes of the main opening/closing device includes at least one main ground electrode for generating a signal. A main center electrode is electrically connected to a sub opening/closing device and to at least one main ground electrode by a main switch, and is disposed on a portion of a main plate to be prevented from being electrically connected to a main ground electrode when a main switch moves.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for performing a time shift function according to a current call connection state are disclosed. If a user enters a call connection mode with another party while viewing digital broadcast signal, received digital broadcast signal is recorded. If the call connection mode is terminated, the digital broadcast signal stored from a start time of the call connection mode is reproduced and displayed. Therefore, although the user loses specific broadcast signal received during a call connection time, the user can continuously view the lost broadcast signal without any loss after the lapse of the call connection time.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pellet-type non-crosslinked polypropylene foam having a melting point of 125 to 140° C., and a process and device for producing said foam. Since the pellet-type foams of non-crosslinked polypropylene of the present invention has a lower melting point and a closed cell content of 80% or more, it is advantageous to mold such foams. The present invention also relates to an article molded from the above pellet-type non-crosslinked polypropylene foams.
Abstract:
A driving apparatus, and a driving method for an electron emission display, includes a controller for comparing external video data input signals, switching a polarity control signal in a predetermined period on the basis of the comparison and controlling a video data output signal in accordance with the polarity control signal, and a data driver for modulating the video data signal output from the controller. The switching of the polarity control signal may be shifted temporally when the comparison indicates the video data input signals have the same gray level.
Abstract:
An electron emission display for improving brightness uniformity by compensating brightness deviation between respective elements. The electron emission display includes a display panel, a scan driver, a data driver, and a brightness compensator. The display panel includes a plurality of scan electrodes, a plurality of data electrodes, and a plurality of display elements respectively formed at crossing points of the scan electrodes and the data electrodes. The display elements respectively include an electron emitter. The scan driver applies a selection signal to the scan electrode. The data driver applies a data signal to the data electrode. The brightness compensator compensates brightness by changing the data signal when brightness deviation of the display elements is greater than a predetermined threshold value.
Abstract:

Abstract:
Disclosed is a condensing system which can selectively provide cooperative operation of an air cooling condenser with a water cooling condenser or an evaporative condenser according to variation of ambient air temperature, coolant pressure and condensing load. The water cooling condenser is disposed between a compressor and the air cooling condenser, and includes a coolant pipe, a water passage for enabling water to flow therethrough to have heat exchange with coolant in the coolant pipe, an inlet pipe and an outlet pipe connected with the water passage of the water cooling condenser for automatically feeding and discharging water in a direction reverse to a flowing direction of coolant and a control valve installed in the inlet side of the inlet pipe for automatically controlling water feed to the water passage according to ambient air temperature, coolant pressure and condensing load. Alternatively, the evaporative condenser is disposed between the compressor and the air cooling condenser, in which the evaporative condenser is placed in the air discharge side of the air cooling condenser to evaporate moisture via air forcibly introduced by a condenser fan and coolant so that coolant can be condensed via latent heat of vaporization. Otherwise, a water pipe is selected from a middle one of chambers of coolant pipes, the coolant pipes are folded and fins are interposed between folded regions of the coolant pipes.
