    摘要: There is provided an apparatus for displaying an image on a screen by projecting a reading light from a light source onto a spatial light modulator of reflective type in which the image is written, and projecting a reflected light from the modulator corresponding to the image onto the screen through a projection lens, the modulator, lens and screen being provided so that their optical axes are in agreement on one optical path. The apparatus comprises an optical device provided between the lens and screen for the reading light toward the modulator and passing the reflected light to the screen and a converging element for converging the reading light on the position which is on the optical axis of the lens and located between the lens and screen so that the reading light thus turned becomes a parallel pencil beam which is projected onto the modulator in parallel with the optical axis.

    摘要: A spatial light modulator which includes a light modulation layer which is interposed between two photoconductive layers and laminated to both layers; the two photo conductive layers have charge images written thereon, respectively, by illumination of a writing light carrying optical information; the illumination direction of the writing light to the photoconductive layers are different from each other; and the two photoconductive layers permit the reading light to pass therethrough. When illuminated by a reading light via either of the first or second photoconductive layers, the light modulation layer optically modulates the reading light in accordance with the first and second charge images, under the presence of a voltage applied to the modulator. Thus it reads read out the first information and second information. The first and second photoconductive layers permit the reading light to pass therethrough.

    摘要: An efficiency polarization converter of few optical components for converting a randomly polarized light into a single beam of linearly polarized light, comprises a first optical device receiving the random light and projecting two linearly polarized lights one projected in a first direction, another to a second optical device which changes the polarization plane thereof, the polarization changes light being directed by a third optical device to the first direction, thereby the two linearly polarized light are combined and aligned to have a common polarization to become the single beam linearly polarized light projected in the first direction. The first and third optical devices may be combined to a 3-prism structure. The polarization converter may be used with liquid crystal light modulators to utilize image display systems.

    摘要: A color TV imaging apparatus comprises a TV imaging device for generating a composite color TV video signal by use of a color separation stripe filter, at least two demodulators for individually producing color signal components by demodulating a carrier signal which is generated as an output signal from the imaging device, and a bias light supply device for applying bias light to a photoelectric transducer section of the imaging device through the filter. At least one of the quantity and color temperature of the bias light is set such that the carrier color signals to be demodulated by the demodulators become greater than the peak-to-peak value of noise contained in the signal. The quantity of bias light is adjusted by controlling bias light sources of the bias light supply device, while a color temperature of bias light is selected by means of color temperature conversion filters positioned in light outlet portions of a flat light conducting element which is included in the bias light supply device.

    摘要: A color television signal generating apparatus comprises a color-resolving striped filter, in a camera tube, for separating the output signal of the camera tube into required signals. The output of the camera tube is a superimposed signal comprising a direct wave signal containing signals of the three primary colors of said addition mixture color, and a high-band signal component comprising a group of modulated color signals resulting from an amplitude modulation of a carrier wave by the signals of two primary colors other than the primary color of the light transmitted through said first filter stripe, said carrier wave having a frequency equal to a space frequency determined by the number of said groups of filter stripes, and said carrier wave also having frequency components which are higher harmonics of the frequency of said carrier wave. The color television signal generating apparatus further comprises a first separation circuit for separating and deriving, out of the output signal of the camera tube, a fundamental wave component signal in which the carrier wave having the frequency equal to the space frequency is amplitude modulated, a second separation circuit for separating and deriving, out of the output signal of the camera tube, a second harmonics wave component signal in which a carrier wave having a frequency twice the space frequency is amplitude modulated, a multiplication circuit for multiplying the output signals of the first and second separation circuits, and a circuit for separating and deriving signals of two primary colors other than the primary color transmitted through the first filter stripe, responsive to the output signals of the multiplication means and the first separation circuit.

    摘要: A signal processing circuit for a color television camera has filters supplied with a multiplex input signal. The direct wave signal includes a plurality of amplitude-modulated color component signals obtained from a camera tube of a color television camera. The tube filters the high-frequency components of the input signal. Detection and processing circuits detect the output signal of the high-pass filter and produce signals having restored DC components. The circuit provides gamma correction, white clipping, linear clipping, blanking signal mixing, or like signal processing with respect to the produced signal. A low-pass filter passes the input signal from the camera tube and filters the direct wave signal of the input signal. A processing circuit processes the output signals of the low-pass filter, and a matrix circuit matrixes the output signals of the detection and processing circuits to obtain three primary color signals. A color encoder provides a composite color video signal from the three primary color signals produced by the matrix circuit.

The camera tube has an optical filter with an optically black part extending in parallel with a beam scanning direction of the camera tube. The stabilizing circuit comprises a clamping circuit for clamping an output signal of the camera tube during a horizontal beam blanking period and for restoring a DC component of the output signal. A circuit responds to supplied sampling pulses during every vertical scanning period, for sampling and holding an output signal of the clamping circuit. A circuit feeds back a substantially negative holding voltage of the sampling and holding circuit, to the clamping circuit.

    摘要: A method of electrophotographic printing is disclosed. A recording medium comprising a photoconductive member and photo-modulation member laminated to each other, both exhibiting a photoelectric effect and a sensitized member made of a chargeable photoconductive member are arranged so as to face each other. A first electro-magnetic radiation beam (abbreviated in a beam hereinafter) which is intensity-modulated with data to be recorded is radiated to the recording medium at the photoconductive member side thereof to record the data to the photo-modulation member with the photoelectric effect. A second beam of constant intensity is radiated to the recording medium to emit therefrom a third beam exhibiting intensity variation subjected to the recorded data. The sensitized member is exposed with the third beam to form thereon a charge image corresponding to the recorded data. Toner is stacked onto the sensitized member formed with the charge image to form thereon a toner image. The toner image is then transferred onto a printing paper, thus to perform repeated printing utilizing the data once recorded to the recording medium.
