    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method performed by a deviation analyzing system (1) for black level drift assessment of a digital camera image sensor (21). The deviation analyzing system measures (1001) for pixels of an image captured by the image sensor, a respective luminance value and corresponding chromaticity value of each pixel. The deviation analyzing system further determines (1002) a respective average chromaticity value for differing luminance levels of the measured luminance values, based on for each luminance level averaging the corresponding measured chromaticity values. Moreover, the deviation analyzing system determines (1003), when the respective average chromaticity values of a range (4) of luminance levels indicate—to a predeterminable extent—chromaticity deviations (5) from the respective average chromaticity values (6) of other luminance levels (7), that a black level setting of the image sensor is drifted from a true black level.
    The disclosure also relates to a deviation analyzing system in accordance with the foregoing, a digital camera comprising such a deviation analyzing system, and a respective corresponding computer program product and non-volatile computer readable storage medium.

    摘要: Luminous elements of the three colors red, green and blue of video display devices have a different response time. Therefore, a colored edge and trail appear at edges in direction of a moving object. In order to reduce the disturbing character of such colored edges and trails, a horizontal spatial equalization of the response time of luminous elements having a shorter response time by low-pass filtering a component signal of the video component signals for driving luminous elements having a shorter response time dependent on a horizontal speed of changes of the component signal is recommended to reduce phosphor lag artifacts on display devices. The arrangement for processing video component signals of different color comprises a compensation unit which according to a preferred embodiment is realized by a FIR filter and a horizontal speed correction unit supplied with a horizontal and vertical motion estimation signal.

    摘要: A feedback circuit for restoration of DC in electrical signals is presented. A sample pulse representing a DC portion of an electrical signal is generated. The sample pulse triggers a sample and hold circuit to acquire the correct offset voltage in the electrical signal during this DC portion. The offset voltage feeds back through a summing node to the electrical signal thereby restoring the video signal to the desired DC voltage level with respect to ground.

    摘要: A video signal output circuit includes a sync-tip clamp circuit fixing a sync-tip level of an input video signal at a constant voltage, a low-pass filter receiving the video signal output from the sync-tip clamp circuit and eliminating a predetermined high-frequency component, a dummy circuit receiving the video signal output from the sync-tip clamp circuit and outputting the video signal having substantially the same sync-tip level as that of the video signal output from the low-pass filter, and an output driver receiving the video signal output from the low-pass filter and outputting the video signal with a low output impedance. The sync-tip clamp circuit controls the sync-tip level of the video signal output from the dummy circuit such that the sync-tip level of the video signal is equal to a predetermined reference voltage.

    摘要: A method for adjusting an image on the basis of characteristics of a display system is provided. The image includes M horizontal lines. Each of the M horizontal lines respectively includes N pixels. Each pixel has an original gray level. A look-up table previously stores a plurality of conversion coefficients related to the characteristics of the display system. The method first calculates an ith loading according to the N original gray levels of the N pixels in the ith horizontal line. Based on the ith loading, an ith conversion coefficient corresponding to the ith loading is selected from the plurality of conversion coefficients in the look-up table. The method respectively multiplies the N original gray levels of the N pixels in the ith horizontal line by the ith conversion coefficient to generate N new gray levels for the N pixels in the ith horizontal line, whereby the image is adjusted.
