摘要： Apparatus for producing printing plates in particular a blank sleeve-like printing plate, includes a cylinder carrier for receiving a printing plate, the cylinder carrier being held in cantilever fashion at one end in a frame in a mounting and is driven by a motor, it being possible for the printing plate to be pushed onto the carrier cylinder at an opposite side of the latter which faces away from the mounting and is, therefore, more accessible for making printing plate exchange. An image-setting device is moved along the carrier cylinder.

摘要： A soap dispenser system includes a venturi suction tube having a soap supply bore intersecting the main through bore; a soap dispenser controlling dispensing of soap from a container; and a supply tube connecting the soap dispenser to the soap supply bore of the suction tube; the soap dispenser including an inner tube having fluidly connected with the supply tube, an outer tube movably mounted over the inner tube and connected with the container, the outer tube fluidly connected with soap from the container and adapted to be fluidly connected with the inlet of the inner tube, a spring applying pressure between the inner tube and the outer tube in a direction to move them apart, a valve permitting soap to enter the inlet of the inner tube only when the outer tube is moved toward the inner tube against the force of the biasing device.

摘要： A thermal transfer sheet suitable for preparing a lighographic printing form cylinder is provided including a substrate layer and a donor layer. The substrate layer includes a first polymer having mechanical stability at temperatures greater than 150 degrees C. and light transmission of at least 70% for wavelengths of from about 700 nm to about 1600 nm. The donor layer includes a second polymer having acidic groups and/or optionally substituted amide groups and an additive is capable of converting incident laser light energy into heat energy. A wetting aid and/or a solvent are also included in the donor layer. A method of making the thermal transfer sheet is also provided.

摘要： Apparatus for continuous separation of solid-fluid mixtures comprising means for routing an endless band of filter cloth folded to form an endless tube which is longitudinally openable and closable to permit introduction of a mixture into the tube for filtering, and removal of solids following filtering. Means for introducing a mixture into the tube are followed by a filter unit which is adjustable in cross sectional flow area. The inlet means and filter unit are assembled on a first frame. A second frame outfitted with means for opening the tube for discharge of solids follows. The two frames are separable to provide a modular construction. Press units, also of modular construction, can be interposed between said frames, also as modules, and means are provided for adjusting the pressure exerted by the press units.
