摘要: A torque converter including a one-way clutch for supporting a stator radially on a fixed member in such a manner that the stator is rotatable in one direction, and a pair of thrust bearings for supporting the stator axially between a pump impeller and a turbine runner, wherein the diameters of the one-way clutch and both of the thrust bearings are different, and the thrust bearings do not axially overlap at least side bearings of the one-way clutch. With this arrangement, thrust force is not applied to the side bearings, and thus, the side bearings are thinner than conventional side bearings. Accordingly, the area radially inside of the stator in the torque converter is axially shortened.

摘要: A substrate holder 90 where a thin film has accumulated on the surface of the holding claws 91 is transferred in a state where no substrate 9 is being held into a film removal chamber 70 which is established branching off in such a way that the vacuum is connected from the square transfer path 80 along which a plurality of vacuum chambers including the film deposition chambers 51, 52, 53, 54 and 50 is established. A high frequency power supply 73 is connected via the movable electrode 74 to the holder body 92 and a high frequency electric field is established within the film removal chamber 70. A plasma is formed by generating a high frequency discharge in the gas which is being delivered by means of the gas delivery system 72 and the accumulated film on the surface of the holding claws 91 is removed in a vacuum by sputter etching due to ion impacts.

摘要: Herein disclosed is a fluid coupling which comprises: a pump impeller connected to the output shaft of an engine; and a turbine runner for transferring a working fluid to and from the pump impeller. On the pump impeller and the turbine runner, respectively, there are arranged a pump blade and a turbine blade without any inner core for guiding the flow of the working fluid inside of the pump impeller and the turbine runner. By bending at least one of the working fluid outlet side of the pump blade and the working fluid inlet side of the turbine blade, there is formed transfer limit means for limiting the transfer of the working fluid when the fluid coupling is in a stalling state.

摘要: For a transmitter of a mobile station of a radio communication network which is typically a mobile radio telephone network, a power supplying arrangement is intermittently energized before being continually energized to allow the transmitter deliver a speech signal to another mobile station through a base station of the network. More particularly, the power supplying arrangement is temporarily energized in response to a down-loop indicating signal, and transmits a specific up-loop signal after which it is deenergized immediately subsequent to transmission from the transmitter of a known pre-call response signal. After this operation, it is preferable that the power supplying arrangement is intermittently energized upon reception of an intermittent succession of call signals and then continuously energized after the mobile station is put into an off-hook state for transmission of the speech signal.

摘要: A transceiver includes an oscillator and a plurality of communication blocks. Each of the communication blocks includes frequency dividers and mixers. Frequency dividing number of the frequency divider included in one communication block is set to an even-numbered integer, and transmission local signals supplied from the frequency dividers to the mixer become quadrature signals having a phase difference of 90 degrees. The frequency dividing number of another frequency divider in the another communication block is set to a non-integer, and communication local signals supplied from the frequency divider to the mixers become non-quadrature signals having a phase difference at a predetermined offset angle from 90 degrees. The transceiver further includes a converting unit for giving a compensation offset amount having almost the same absolute value and having a polarity opposite to that of the offset angle to communication analog signals related to the mixer of the another communication block.
