摘要: The present invention provides a cooking grate for use within a barbecue grill assembly comprising a cooking chamber and a gas burner positioned in a lower portion of the cooking chamber. The grate has a plurality of elongated members defining a cooking surface and multiple openings. The grate further has a grease control assembly that is cooperatively positioned over a burner flame region to direct and control the flow of grease generated by cooking food on the grate. The grease control assembly has at least one rib group and at least one ledge. The rib group comprises a plurality of ribs, each rib having a first inclined surface and a second inclined surface. The grease control assembly also has an outer ridge and an inner ridge depending from a lower surface of the grate. With these structures, the grate prevents grease and byproducts from draining onto the burner flame region.

摘要: A riding toy converts between a traditional or conventional upright trike configuration and a low slung chopper configuration. A front frame tube is joined to a head tube to which the front wheel and handlebars are piviotally attached. A rear frame tube is joined to a pair of rear wheels. The front and rear frame tubes are joined by a pivot shaft so that they rotate relative to one another. As a result, the rear portion of the riding toy may be flipped over to reconfigure the riding toy between the trike and chopper configurations. An opening is formed in the front frame tube and receives spring-loaded buttons that turn with the rear frame tube so that the riding toy may be locked in the desired configuration. The front frame tube is also split and features a clamp so that it can clamp down on a guide sleeve that is attached to the rear frame tube.

摘要: The active matrix display comprises a matrix of display pixels (10) which are associated with intersections of crossing select electrodes (11) and control electrodes (12). A select driver (2) supplies a select signal (SE) to the select electrodes (11). A control driver (3) supplies control signals (D)A) to the control electrodes (12). A voltage level generator (5) supplies a plurality of different voltage levels (VBi) to level electrodes (13) of the active matrix display. The active matrix display further comprises select circuits (6) which are arranged to selectively couple the voltage levels (VBi) on the voltage level electrodes (13) to the pixels (10) to supply one of the plurality of different voltage levels (VBi) to a particular one of the pixels (10) in dependence on the select signal (SE) and the control signal (DA) associated with this particular pixel (10). The select signal (SE) indicates whether the particular pixel (10) is selected and the control signal (DA) indicates which one of said plurality of different voltage levels (VBi) has to be supplied to the particular one of the pixels (10) when selected.

摘要: The electrophoretic display panel (1), for displaying a picture, has drive means (100) which are arranged for controlling the potential difference of each picture element (2) to be a preset potential difference having a predetermined duration and subsequently to be a picture potential difference having an actual duration in the range between a smallest duration and a largest duration. For the display panel (1) to be able to provide a relatively high picture quality even when the interval available for controlling both the preset potential differences and the picture potential differences is constant and in the range between 100 ms and 200 ms, the drive means (100) are further arranged for controlling for each picture element (2) of at least a number of the picture elements (2) having smaller durations of the picture potential differences than the largest duration, the preset potential difference to have an additional duration, which is chosen in a range from larger than zero to equal to a difference between the largest duration and the actual duration of the picture potential difference.

摘要: A touch sensitive active martix display device has an array of capacitive display element pixels (16), each associated with a pixel storage capacitor (20) and a pixel transistor. One or more common electrode contacts (18a) are provided and connected to a terminal of a plurality of the display elements (16). Each common electrode contact is individually connectable to a charge measurement device (50) for measuring a flow of charge to the common electrode contact. The charge flowing through the capacitive display element can thus be measured while the pixel transistor is switched off. This flow of charge represents the transfer of charge between the pixel storage capacitor (20) and the display element (16) and results from a change in capacitance, and is therefore indicative of a touch input.

摘要: A method of encoding a graphical message (220, 221) based on a key sequence as an encoded sequence of information units. For each pixel of the message, said pixel having a normalized intensity I, a total rotation α which results in a liquid crystal display in a pixel with substantially the intensity I is determined. The key sequence contains arbitrary rotations. The difference between the total rotation a and a corresponding rotation in the key sequence is output as an element of the encoded sequence. A device (201) presents pixels with rotations indicated by the encoded sequence on a first display (701) and pixels with rotations indicated by the key sequence on a second display (211). Superimposing the two displays reveals the graphical message. The method can be repeated for red, green and blue intensities of color pixels, allowing colored graphical messages to be encoded and reconstructed.
