Abstract: According to one aspect of the present invention, a method for supporting a user equipment (UE) handover of a target (T)-access and mobility management function (AMF) in a wireless communication system may comprise the steps of: receiving a UE context creation request message from a source (S)-AMF, wherein the UE context creation request message includes packet data unit (PDU) session identifiers (ID) as a handover target and single (S)-network slice selection assistance information (NSSAI) corresponding to each PDU session ID; determining whether the corresponding S-NSSAI is valid in the T-AMF; and sending, to a session management function (SMF), a PDU session update session management (SM) context request message only for a PDU session ID that corresponds to the S-NSSAI determined to be valid according to the determination result, out of the PDU session IDs.

Abstract: A method for a user equipment (UE) to perform public land mobile network (PLMN) selection in a wireless communication system, and which includes selecting, by the UE, a first PLMN; in response to the first PLMN not providing direct communication resources, selecting, by the UE, a second PLMN providing direct communication resources; performing, by the UE, a registration on the second PLMN; receiving, by the UE, a failed registration code of “PLMN not allowed” due to a failing of the registration on the second PLMN; and performing, by the UE, the direct communication on the second PLMN in a limited service state. Further, the UE remains on the first PLMN based on a normal service state and the UE does not perform an additional PLMN selection during a duration of the direct communication in the second PLMN based on the limited service state.

When the user equipment is required to establish a dedicated bearer for a PDU session (second PDU session) other than the first PDU session among the plurality of PDU sessions, the user equipment transmits a bearer generation request message requesting to generate a dedicated bearer for the PDN connection.
