摘要: A colonoscope as an endoscope has an insertion tube for insertion in a patient's gastrointestinal tract. A head portion is disposed at an end of the insertion tube, for inspecting a large intestine. In combination with this, a device for insertion guide includes a base tube mounted on the head portion. Two propulsion fins are disposed on the base tube to extend in an axial direction of the head portion. A driving mechanism with balloons shifts the propulsion fins between closed and open positions. The propulsion fins, when in the closed position, are disposed to extend along the head portion, and when in the open position, are deployed in a radial direction by setting a distal fin end thereof away from the head portion, to propel the head portion inserted in the large intestine. Furthermore, the balloons set the propulsion fins in the open position alternately with one another.

摘要: Disclosed is a photothermographic material comprising an image forming layer containing at least a light-sensitive silver halide, a light-insensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent and a binder and a non-image forming layer on at least one surface of a support, wherein 50% by weight or more of the binder is a hydrophilic binder, the light-sensitive material further comprising a metal phthalocyanine compound represented by the following formula (PC-1): wherein M represents a metal atom, R1, R4, R5, R8, R9, R12, R13 and R16 respectively represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent where at least one of R1, R4, R5, R8, R9, R12, R13 and R16 is an electron attractive group and R2, R3, R6, R7, R10, R11, R14 and R15 respectively represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent.

摘要: A photothermographic material having, on at least an image forming layer including at least an organic silver salt and a non-photosensitive layer on the image forming layer, wherein the photothermographic material further has a non-photosensitive intermediate layer between the image forming layer and the non-photosensitive layer, and 50% by weight or more of a binder of the non-photosensitive intermediate layer is formed by a polymer latex, and the photothermographic material contains a metal phthalocyanine dye represented by formula (PC-1): wherein, M represents a metal atom, at least one of R1, R4, R5, R8, R9, R12, R13, and R16 is an electron-attracting group, and R2, R3, R6, R7, R10, R11, R14, and R15 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent. The invention provides a photothermographic material which exhibits high sharpness, preferable image tone, and excellent image storability.

摘要: A process for manufacturing a photothermographic material comprising a support and an image forming layer on the support, containing at least a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent for a silver ion, and a binder, comprising mixing the photosensitive silver halide with the non-photosensitive organic silver salt: said photosensitive silver halide having a silver iodide content of 40 mol % to 100 mol %, and an average particle size of 5 nm to 80 nm, and said photothermographic material further containing at least one compound selected from the group consisting of compounds represented by formulae (T1) and (T2); Wherein in formula (T1), R represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an aryl group, a halogen atom, an amino group, a nitro group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted carboxyl group or salt thereof, or a sulfonic group or salt thereof, wherein in formula (T2), R represents an alkyl or alkenyl group having 20 or less carbon atoms, an aryl, alkaryl, or aralkyl group having 20 or less carbon atoms, an aliphatic or aromatic heterocyclic group containing 6 or less ring atoms, or a carbocyclic group containing 6 or less carbon atoms. A photothermographic material having high sensitivity and excellent preservation stability and excellent in light fastness of images is obtained.

The silver halide photographic material provides high storage stability and less pressure marks.
