摘要: Drums each having an independent drive source is installed on a trolley and each of the drums has a lifting rope which is wound around it and has an unwound end locked on a suspension piece, which will suppress any need to design the lifting rope in longer length and the drums in larger size. Sun gears, carriers and planetary gears disposed in each of the drums as well as internal teeth in each of the drums so as to be integrally rotated with the drum constitute a speed reducing mechanism for transmitting rotation of a drive source to each of the drums, will enable the entire hoist to be compact in size. Unwound length of the lifting rope from each drum is adjusted to control posture of the suspension piece and load in adequate state.

The reinforcing fiber material contains 25 to 35 percent by volume of staple cellulose pulp of not more than 150 .mu.m in fiber length. The organic filler contains 30 to 40 percent by weight of an organic filler material of not more than 840 .mu.m in maximum grain size. The friction and abrasion conditioner contains and 0.5 to 5 percent by volume of aluminum oxide and/or magnesium oxide of not more than 250 .mu.m in maximum grain size. The material composite has a porosity in the range of 15 to 30 percent by volume.

摘要: On multiplexing a predetermined number of lower-order multiplex digital transmission signals of a common frame period into a higher-order multiplex digital communication signal, an identification pattern (X, Y, Z) is inserted in each frame of each transmission signal. The identification patterns are specific to the respective transmission signals. The identification patterns in each frame period of the respective transmission signals are multiplexed into a single pattern (I1x, I2x, I3x, I1y, I2y, I3y, I1z, I2z, I3z) in the communication signal and used to indicate lower-order multiplex digital signal receivers to which the respective transmission signals should be directed. After the communication signal is demultiplexed into lower-order multiplex digital reception signals, the identification patterns are detected with frame synchronism established between the lower-order transmission and reception signals. Each identification pattern may consist of a preselected number of binary bits where two to the power of the preselected number should not be less than the predetermined number.

摘要: An electrode comprising a substrate of a conducting metal, a coat of an electrode active substrate, and a layer interposed between the substrate and the coat to serve as a protective barrier for the substrate acquires improved durability by using, as the intermediate layer, a layer having platinum dispersed in a mixed oxide consisting of an oxide of at least one metal selected from the group consisting of titanium and tin, each having a valence of 4, and an oxide of at least one metal selected from the group consisting of tantalum and niobium, each having a valence of 5. The electrode of improved durability is produced by a process which comprises the steps of preparing a substrate of a conducting metal, depositing a solution containing salts of Ti and/or Sn, Ta and/or Nb, and Pt on the substrate, heating the resultant coated substrate under the blanket of an oxidizing gas thereby forming an intermediate layer on the substrate, and subsequently coating the intermediate layer with a layer of an electrode active substance.
