摘要: This application provides a communication method for a wireless fidelity Wi-Fi system and an apparatus, and relates to the field of communication technologies, to improve an anti-interference capability of an IoT device, and improve a coverage capability and a wall penetration capability. The communication method for a wireless fidelity Wi-Fi system includes: generating a Wi-Fi frame including a preamble, where a synchronization sequence of the preamble includes at least one extension code, and the extension code includes N symbols generated based on a Barker code, where N=α*M, M is a chip length of the Barker code, and α is a positive integer; and transmitting the Wi-Fi frame.

摘要: Methods and apparatus that may be used to provide timestamps to physical layer devices are provided. One method includes obtaining a time value from a clock associated with a physical layer device that is communicatively coupled to a primary data packet switch. The method further includes adding a processing time to the time value to generate a timestamp and transmitting the timestamp to a multiplexer circuit. The method further includes writing the timestamp in parallel from the multiplexer circuit to a plurality of external physical layer devices that are communicatively coupled to a secondary data packet switch and are located external to a housing of the secondary data packet switch.

摘要: A method for transmitting useful information between a transmitting terminal and a receiving terminal connected via a transmission channel. The transmitting terminal defines control information for the useful information, and searches in an association table, which is accessible from the transmitting terminal, for a frame-synchronization word associated with the control information. The transmitting terminal generates a frame of data from the useful information, and transmits, over the transmission channel, a data stream that includes the frame-synchronization word and the frame of data.

摘要: Various aspects of the disclosed approach described herein allows a reduction of preamble overhead by tailoring transmitted packet preambles based on an expected level of clock-related offset between a transmitter and a receiver for a pair of communicating nodes. An estimate may be maintained at the transmitter of maximum time and frequency offsets between the transmitter and the receiver. The estimate may then be utilized to create a customized preamble sequence for generating the packet preamble. The estimate may also be utilized to select a particular modulation technique for the packet preamble.

摘要: In order to perform synchronization and compensate clock drift among a plurality of communication devices interconnected to form a mesh communications network, all communication devices, except one given communication device, perform a first distributed consensus-based synchronization. The given communication device performs: obtaining a first correction information derived at least from a difference between a clock timing resulting from the first distributed consensus-based synchronization and a reference clock timing; and transmitting the first correction information through the mesh communications network. All the communication devices, except said given communication device, further perform updating the clock timing resulting from the first distributed consensus-based synchronization by taking into account the transmitted first correction information.

摘要: In one embodiment, protocol violations of a particular protocol are induced at one or more predetermined intervals within a particular stream of information encoded according to the particular protocol in order to produce a marked particular stream of information for use in subsequent identification of the marked particular stream of information. The marked stream is multiplexed or otherwise communicated to a second device. The second device detects, and typically corrects, the induced protocol violations. And based on which stream of information included the induced protocol violations and the multiplexing/distribution pattern of the other streams of information, the second device can identify which stream is which and process or forward accordingly.
